I always wonder why do traders put their orders over the phone when they can just click it...

@mylove1618 Because they're not traders. They're brokers. They get a request from a client which they forward to traders who will take care of the execution. It's more of a secretary job. TV always show you these guys and tell they're traders, but it's because they usually can't film inside the trading room - it is very sensitive information, as you can easily figure.
