yeh pretty nice stuff, very impressive, good speed. in response to the pinky finger, I think it must be just a pipe band thing, slightly different styles and techniques that everybody plays with, and some play with the pinky fingers out on both hands!!
also apparently these two play with Campbelltown PB and Kintyre Schools PB
In many ways just so incredible and fantastic - I wish I could play even a tenth that well... but, I do think the drums are tuned so tight to get the rebound they need that they sound absolutely AWFUL
@SAHBfan no way, these drums are cracking, granted the Pearl and Andante don't sound as good as the old Premiers but with the Coretec heads on top cranked right up they sound like magic!! :-)
Very intrigued in the claim that the style developed in the south, then went north and then to Scotland...could ya guide me as to where I can find more info on this?

lol, those drumheads rlly emphasize the doubles. if they went to a different kind it prolly wouldnt sound as good.
