Having discovered the music of KT Tunstall about a year ago, I have been nuts about her sound ever since...and I would recommend that most female singers would be better off not to try to cover her songs, for danger of suffering badly by comparison. But you have the guts to first of all try it and secondly, to pull it off and fair very well in comparison! Beautifully done, your cover has so much heart, so sincere, very very beautifully done. And that's from someone who grades KT covers hard!
