  • Make this compatible with Starcraft 2 and Microsoft will be freaking rich as hell again

  • Like if you lawled when he just started throwing checker pieces

  • Dear, Santa...............

  • guys the surface 2 only costs $7600 according to official announcements by microsoft

  • what would happen if a cat fell asleep on one of these tables? Would the computer interact with the cat?

  • @UnstableMustard It'd be cool if there's an app for it xD

  • LOL the guys voice..

  • That was a colossal iPod touch ._.

  • Can we play QUAKE on this?

  • Instead of buying a simple wooden board and a few plastic pieces, spend thousands more so that u can do it on a huge, space filling table. screw saving money

  • @IDKan4 it's all about the status...why buy an old used car that will get you from Point A to point B when you are able to afford a brand new muscle car?

  • iTable..?

  • so i can pay a million dollars to play checkers ?

  • this must be big on virtual air hockey

  • Wow, that tiles game looks like fun. Just a casual little battle game where you drop bombs on your friends while you chat lol.

  • @kbungiex it costs $2000. they went on sale like a while ago (christmas ish)

  • @kbungiex It's only available to businesses though. The guy at the Microsoft store told me.

  • @julieferreal i know

  • @julieferreal It's 12500 @ its cheapest price ... you can say you run a private buisness from home and have it shipped there SIMPLE

  • Fuck I want one

  • this tool is really very interesting.... I just think when this could ever be used also here in Italy. it would be great! how could it be just a dream?

  • Make a monopoly game, with some sorta digital dice.

  • hmm ... i can do all that shit except for the scaling for real chess set and it only cost me a couple of bucks! :D

  • how much does this cost????

  • Pretty ghey this only works on Vista -- won't work on my Windows 7 Touchsmart... boo!!

  • This would be great for strategy games such as Red Alert.

  • can you play Crysis?

  • this is just a projector that senses touch the table is nothing special is the projector that does all of the work

  • Actually, the projector doesn't do the sensing. There are five cameras and proprietary vision processing that assemble the infra-red data providing distinction of touch from fingers from other objects and can tell the direction fingers or objects are facing. It can also read high resolution tags which is difficult with many camera based systems.

  • @wicho9195 u got pwnt

  • @wicho9195 how would you know you dont have one

  • Wow, it has the "turn off rules" feature ... ;)

  • Pong would be cool on this

  • what kinda cleaning products can people use after they smudge the shit out of it....To bad it doesnt do touch porn

  • but does it play nine man's morris? (google it)

  • noo, BING it!!

  • got this is boring...

  • I'm thinking about maybe a game where u r the commander of a military battle (how cool would that be?!?)

  • @huskey500 They already have that. It's called Comand & Conquer.

  • the user who posted this is a microsoft employee, dumbass

  • Also, maybe you should try getting tables into Barnes and Nobles in the future? I can see a lot of uses for book stores like Borders or Barnes and Nobles. Book stores are great for casual games like this. Maybe you could even implement a book reader for the table. Sorry if you've already thought of these ideas but I figured I might as well put some ideas out there.

  • That's pretty awesome. I hope you guys can make this successful for the big businesses and then hopefully consumers. A lot of us (myself included) would kill to have one of these things in our house. Of course I couldn't see the real value other than casual things but maybe we'll start to see some professional games made for surface. If you get this thing down to consumer market and maybe a smaller table I'm pretty certain Microsoft will have another golden age. Keep up the innovation.
