I'm sorry but while I understand and agree with your general sentiment, your choice of music couldn't be further off. The song refers not to a fool in the conventional sense, but one more akin to a Shakespearean fool. That is, a person regarded by the community as a fool but who actually contains a wisdom beyond the scope of popular thought.
Or maybe I am wrong and you meant to imply that President Bush possesses wisdom beyond our understanding. I would respectfully disagree.

Yeah you're right that's what I said before, the Fool on the Hill is actually smart, that's the point of the song. I guess the guy who made the video thought that the fool on the hill was actually fool. I read on an interview that McCartney was trying to make an allusion of God with this lyric, this can be actually inferred in some of the words of the song like "the man in the cloud... the man of the thousand voices; the eyes on his head see the world spinning round"

He is really stupid and has the wrong idea of how to rule a world... yet is an insult to the Beatles to make a video refering to Bush as The Fool on the Hill, who is actually smart, that is the point of the song, he is not fool, he is too smart for the rest of the people. And there are theories that this great McCartney piece is about God.

Its hard not too but I don't like it when people use this song as a protest song. It wasn't written about Capital Hill or anything Political. It's hard not too though because it matches too good.
The song is acutally about Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, a eccentric, peaceful man from India who became close with the Beatles.

I don't know why, but this song bothers me for some reason! The music and melody sounds like a person who is mentaly handicapped or slow, or childish!! The lyrics sound like they are about a person who is stupid and oblivious to what is going on around him!!

Someone like this takes the time to build a video as a derogatory commentary on the current administration and isn't even smart enough to understand the lyrics they attached it to. In the song, the fool on the hill is the only one that understands the true meaning of what is happening. I would say he's a fool but that leads me down a reasonably complex issue of circular thought.
