  • one of the best fucking punk songs / videos ever fucking made.

  • Cheerleaders rock.

  • defiantly one of the most underrated music videos ever

  • The video would be better without the fat guy in the pink suit.

  • i love how most of the yellow and red soldiers are independant professional wrestlers

  • i might just be DRUNK :BUT I LOVE THIS SONG

  • This is a really crappy video. Damn.

  • 'a Hitlerian Europe would not be quite so terrible as most people believe it would be.' John Middleton Murry, British intellectual, pacifist and editor of 'Peace News'. I am sure that Mr Murry would have liked this song and its message.

  • Left-wing pacifist propaganda, put out by the kind of people who wouldn't give a damn if the Western civilisation that they grew up in was to be swept away. I imagine the leaders of al Qaeda watching this video and saying wistfully: 'If only people such as these could be in charge of the West. Our victory would be assured!'

  • @atticana Fuck off troll.

  • @atticana I'm pretty sure if the leaders of Al-Qaeda would listen to against me they might just send Americans aid to help fight our tyrant government....so stfu and gtfo you hick.

  • @NotTooIntoMe You just don't get it do you? Pacifist and anti-war movements are the true if unwitting allies of all enemies of freedom. Pacifism is an ideology either for those who live securely or for those who have despaired. I wonder which category you come into?

  • Comment removed

  • @atticana Ah, I assumed you were 14, but looking at your profile revealed you to be a middle aged British man with mental deficiencies. I am happy to hear that you vote in a country that does not have an appreciable military.

  • @Ianelmore It's just as well that it was Winston Churchill and not you in charge of Britain in 1940. Or Roosevelt and the USA for that matter. If pacifists had ruled the West at that time then the swastika banner would now be fluttering over London and Washington.

  • @atticana Pacifists did rule the west at the beginning of the second world war. The war in Europe did not begin until Germany invaded Poland, and America did not join the war until we were attacked by the Empire of Japan. Finally, it was the German invasion of the Soviet Union that doomed them, with 80% of German losses happening on that front.

  • @Ianelmore I guess it's just as well for the Russians that they didn't have a pacifist government in 1941. If they had, then Hitler would have established his Aryan empire in the East and what kind of world would we have today?

  • @atticana Except, as I said, Germany attacked Russia first. This caused by Stalin's botched invasion of Finland in the winter of '39, which demonstrated the weakness of the Red Army. An unsuccessful war against a weak country caused an invasion by a much stronger country, which ended up costing the USSR 26 million lives, 14% of their population.

  • @Ianelmore Are you smoking some powerful substance bro? Hitler intended to invade Russia REGARDLESS. It was central to his scheme for lebensraum in the East. To suggest that it was Russian aggression against Finland that made Hitler invade Russia is, excuse me, total BS!!!

  • @captainstern3 I think that's Pat Buchanan's opinion too if I'm not mistaken.

  • @NotTooIntoMe They did. They sent agents to attack the Pentagon and the offices of major American corporations. They succeeded in killing over 3000 people. They would be more than happy to support anyone who was trying to bring down the government. Except they are all dead now, because the government spent 4 trillion dollars to track them all down and slaughter them, or imprison them forever at an offshore military base under constant psychological torture. Just a history lesson for you.

  • MR SAFTY

  • @tyler33ism which one was he red or yello

  • The girl with dark hair is a cutie.

  • thumbs up if you think the vids great but the somgs sucky

  • @MrTurkeybutt thumbs down for being a troll and sucking at it, truly a remarkable feat.

  • I came here to listen to the song, and what pops up? A Ron Paul add.

  • I don't know why anyone would argue over this video, since the most important thing is that the cheerleaders are hot. I will gladly watch this video many more times for those fine ladies. ;)

  • this action movie has an awesome soundtrack :D

  • This is a rather unintelligent debate.

  • sounds exactly like Rise Against without really bad hairdo's and vegan hippies.

  • Are you my mummy? xD

  • that fat ass should be cheering for both sides just like the foriegn banks... oh did i say that... here comes bb...

  • @kasrken I'd reply to your post in Newspeak, but I don't wanna get strange looks.

  • @pumpkinbot This post is plusgood.

  • @maxthepwner Uncultured people who haven't read 1984 are doubleplusungood.

  • this is how i feel about our military

  • the guy with the guitar has some issues

  • @gohanguy22 Yah just a bit hah.

  • One of my all time favorites. I absolutely love this song.

  • pointless symbolism, seems dumbed down. Is that for Warner music? Diluted analysis. Is this supposed to be rebellion music? co-opted, by the corporate machine

  • @oplopanux yeah big time..protest song for pussies is more like it. SOAD'S "BOOM!" (and most other songs of theirs...) and Damian Marley's "confrontation" are proper gutsy protest songs. Bet you haven't heard confrontation. Check it out it's quite powerful :) p.s. actually I'm not betting, anything's possible with 2 mil+ views...

  • @papapetad SOAD is for 12 year olds, sure against me! isn't that great nowadays but 're-inventing Axl Rose' was fucking amazing and a good protest song is judged on it's lyrics and emotions not on how loud it is.

  • @tmsplltrs First of all I wasn't talking to you, second I don't see 12 year olds listening to SOAD, but then again I don't hang out with 12 year olds. SOAD generates plenty of emotion through the power of their music and lyrics. This song tells me these guys spent more time designing the clip than learning to play their fucking instruments. The difference is SOAD made a HUGE difference and these guys won't.

  • @papapetad

I listened to SOAD when I was 12, and I'm not just making that up. The thing is I don't hate SOAD I think they're awesome but compared to Against me! they're nothing. SOAD only sings about how bad war is and pretends like no-one already fucking knew that without going deeper in on the subject.

  • @tmsplltrs you were a political activist since the age of 12. jesus christ you're the coolest fucking hipster ever. please DRINK THE BLEACH

  • @facepalm486 I never said I was a political activist, I listened to SOAD. I'm wondering how you think listening to bands that sing about pizza and sex would directly make you an political activist. Okay that's not fair to say I know, but you get the point.

  • @tmsplltrs should I really quote your previous statement or could you just scroll down and read it. It practically implies that you listened to System for Down Syndrome due to their politicore themes and bullshit. "AWWWWWW AMERICA IS SO FUCKING SHIT". Remember that next time you see a decapitation video or when you see a woman being stoned to death in the streets of some sand nigger city. The US should just erase all evidence of Islam and get it over with really.

  • @facepalm486

Wow, did I reply to the wrong person or did you? Either way, you sound like an idiot and nobody said anything about America being shit or middle eastern (I think you meant the middle east) countries being shit. Either way the Islam has nothing to do with the violence, they're just a scapegoat.

  • @tmsplltrs Well then you certainly are playing dumb it's all about America. I'm not sure where I said anything about middle eastern and meant middle east. Islam is in Europe and Africa too not just the Middle East. When a religion says "kill all infidel" - I think it's pretty safe to blame that religion for violence. But hey that's just me - and I'm an idiot, right?

  • @facepalm486

Oh yes that's right every single Muslim in the entire world wants to kill every infidel. That's right, you sir are a genius. I mean I used to think it were just Muslim terrorists and dictators that wanted to do that, but you've changed my mind off course we should blame the entire religion, I wist I though of that earlier thanks for opening my eyes.

  • @tmsplltrs well said mate, im sick of people making generalising statements

  • @tmsplltrs I <3 the sarcasm and all, but the Qu'ran actually says to "kill infidels" or non believers...

  • @Armalite2010 If you actually read it rather then the stupid summed down out of context quotes that you probably read every time the instance of fighting is involved it is purely and utterly condoning self-defense.

"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loves not transgressors"

  • @facepalm486 While I probably shouldn't try to interrupt one of the endless pointless youtube arguments, I would just like to say that people like you, who talk about "sand nigger cities" and are ignorant enough to blame a whole religion for the actions of a few, are the reason people hate the US. Also I am going to remind you of the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition, some horrible things that Christianity has done as well.

  • @maxthepwner well then I'll just counter with if it wasn't for the Christian crusades you'd be either an unperson right now, or sucking the cock of Mohammed. Eitherway, religion is the opiate for the masses, but christianity i'm afraid, is the lesser of two evils.

  • @facepalm486 Next you'll start telling me that the 30 years war was a good thing.

  • @maxthepwner (I love answering rhetorical questions by the way - it's my thing) War is never good. However, fight fire with fire.

  • @facepalm486 one, it is very ignorant of you to say ANY of that. two, you can't predict a reality that will never happen.

  • @xwseiferwx I have no idea what you're talking about. Begone foul pest.

  • @oplopanux they aren't even signed to warner....

  • The symbolism in this video is truly remarkable. Fucking great song to.

  • @Scream2hearYou what does the gray creepy guy symbolize?

  • @robbiesilverwolf The protestor ignored.

  • @robbiesilverwolf The Protesters

  • @robbiesilverwolf marilyn manson is the creepy gray guy ;P

  • best music video iv ever saw

  • This video is so intense.

  • Thats pretty offensive to have white people in the title, just so you can shock people, and try to make war look almost like a race war. But the truth is, you can't stop violence. It is in human nature, and we will continue to kill each other in this grand concept of war. And this will never change, not until the end of the world. So quit trying to fight nature, it seems almost cowardly.

  • @The20134ever1 Rape, polygamy, picking your nose and not washing are all also natural so I guess that must mean we should consequently accept them in modern society

  • @The20134ever1 I think it's a play on how African Americans have been the only ones to fight the government and really achieve something.

  • @haircutbob2 you are aware that politics existed before the civil rights movement right? We are free Americans because we fought the British government in the late 1700s.

Don't let the fact that they used the word "white" confuse you.

  • @beatles2885 Well that's my bad. I meant the American Government.

  • @The20134ever1 you find it offensive that they used the words "white people".....are you stupid? Being too sensitive about words is just as dangerous as using them to spread hate. If the title was more along the lines of "white people only for peace" then yea that would be offensive, but that's not the message or the title of the song.

  • oh my god the take down at 1:18

  • fuck whity

  • Comment removed

  • @DeathsHood so you're saying if you're brain dead and you have no thoughts or ideas of your own...become a soldier for the UNITED STATES OF SLAVERY? okay, i suppose that explains why the US has so many soldiers. Now if only you can mobilize your entire fanatic christian majority and justify war with some bullshit bible. hmmmm.

  • @facepalm486 I'm not Christian, not even close. You don't even get a cursory 'Good try'.

You also appear to be the single most racist, ignorant, ill-educated ass I've ever had the displeasure of replying to.

I could be wrong, however; because tone, inflection, expression, and just about all other notable methods of determining sarcasm, or most other vocally based communications are impossible via text.

Please clarify: Asshole? Troll? Sarcastic douche? All of the above?

  • omg!!! i cant stop replaying that takedown 1:15 !!!!!!!! its too great

    xDD

  • @Hiph0pKill3R That is the rock (the Wrestler) Float over DDT. Pretty awesome.

  • @Hiph0pKill3R holy shit yeah. that's some serious jiu jitsu right there lol

  • war is unavoidable and if you think it is your an idiot. War is natural war is an instinct humans are born. theres no such thing as a pointless war! people need to wake up and cut this shit out theres no such thing as peace when it comes to war. and maybe we fight for the wrong reasons that doesn't mean that we have a right to trash war and the people fighting it!

  • @SimplySosimple born with* sry

  • @SimplySosimple actually if you're aware that man's natural instincts demand war, then you should atleast have the will to control it. are you just some animal then? ....you know same way that I control my natural instincts to rape anything with a vagina and a pair of tits. dumbcunt - you must be an american. YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAW NASCAR HOTDOGS BASEBALL BAYOU'S! YEEEEEEEEHAWWWWW MY MOTHER IS MY SISTER.

  • @facepalm486 You realize that is a terrible stereotype of Americans. That's like saying all British people drink tea and have crooked ass teeth, and that all muslims are terrorists. You are a stupid ignorant piece of shit. congrats

  • @klem2991 and you're a little politically correct piece of shit. go live in your own reality where you can make it up as you see fit. fucking delusional nation of inbred uneducated irresponsible consumer fucks.

  • @facepalm486 You seem a little agitated champ.

  • @facepalm486 in case you didnt know we are animals o.o and how does being american make all those things apply to me? i guess this is what america is now people who think they can judge others....... and about your whole comment was stupid you barely addressed anything i said all you did was point out we are animals and stereotype so before your run your mouth why dont you think

  • @SimplySosimple yes because stereotypes are bad in that politically correct people (who by the way are also the most moral) don't like them very much. How about you fucking grow a pair and start thinking for yourself and maybe look at why certain stereotypes exist. You know, look at your nation of fucking idiots from the perspective of someone outside of that glorious nation.

  • that move at 1:16. That is pure win

  • Against Me! Gets my blood fucking pumping!

Why the fuck isn't This ^ a top comment!?

    'A'

  • Ok i get that the orange and yellow guys represent the opposing sides of the war, and the guy with the guitar is the people stuck in the middle of it but who do the cheer leader represent?

  • @nikel3161 I think, not sure, that there either like the public cheering the wars or how war has become popular culture and to the public it's not that serious. well that was my opinion and I'd love to hear other people's opinions

  • @nikel3161 The guy with the guitar represents a protester. How he looks all worn out and silent.

  • @MrBatManIsAPunk that makes more sense

  • another nice song from Against me ! I wonder where they got those orange masks I want one

  • @XderMeisterX123 it just Russian gas masks ГП-5

  • omg i love this band so much.

  • 1:17-1:20, Mr. Badass....

  • @Wingednoble that is the same move the rock use to do

  • PROTEST SONGS IN RESPONSE TO MILITARY AGGRESSION!

PROTEST SONGS TRYING TO STOP THE SOCIAL SCARING

  • whats it called to flip someone like orange guy does yellow guy at 1:16?

  • @Diljon I've heard it called a clothesline.

  • @DirigiblePb: Naw, a clothesline happened earlier in the video. The part he's asking about is some crazy piledriver move @1:16.

  • @Diljon That is actually called a "Float Over DDT". I feel qualified to answer this because I am a trained professional wrestler and I was in the video (guy that spins in the air @1:38 ).

  • @Diljon stone cold stunnaaa

  • great video, awful song

  • @LILTINCHYDAKING i dissagree, i really like this song

  • ORANGE BEATS THE SHIT OUT OF YELLOW.

  • i finally figured it out home won which is yellow they had more points then away if you look at the tv when it zoomed in pause right there and home has like 592 i think and away had like 329 but home won

  • 1:16 because a clothes line isnt enough.

  • The guy at 0:52 what's wrong with him?

  • @PestControlService99 He's a protester for war. His sick image reflects his weak voice in society.

  • @Airsoft4989 Alright, thank you.

  • So... Which one won? East or West?

  • @MsGamingMaster Everybody loses.

  • Lol, the cheerleaders. The symbolism isn't funny but the REALITY IS.

  • dkdkssks you have a point they did kind of sell out and forget about everything they were after a new wave they threw us away... it's almost like we were just their way up lol

  • I like this song, i'm an anarchist, and all I hear about against me is that they've got a bug up their ass because some punk in gainesville jumped them. What the hell's the story? Why did they decide to turn around and throw us under the bus with "I was a teenage anarchist" after they made their careers playing in spaces and at shows we organized?

  • @dkdkssks The band matured. Their outlook changed, their message changed, and the fanbase didn't want to change along with them.

  • @dkdkssks I don't think it's anything personal, I'm sure they're still grateful. But if they no longer identify with the anarchist movement, they can't just go around writing songs that aren't true to their opinions for the benefit of the people that have helped them in the past.

  • WASNT MR SAFETY IN THIS XD??!!

  • @sk8apunkgirl yes! XD

  • @supervillan YAY lol

  • The football field represents how war is a sport now. The colored teams represent the prejudice of war (it's color here, though it could be on homeland, religion, etc.). Mr. Safety represents the anti-war people, depicted as weak and malnourished. Cheerleaders are mindless war supporters. The man in pink is corporations making money off of it, in a color nonrelated to the battle as he really doesn't care who wins as long as he gets money.

  • yeaaaa!!!!! dOWney HigH!!!! thats my school!!! lol it looks the same..even with the fighting

  • the fuck did i just watch o_o

  • anyone notice how this is a protest song against the military that talks about protest songs against the military...?

  • That guitar guy is freaking me the fuck out... What is he supposed to represent?

  • @weirdcast2 MR.safety is representing all the civilans that are against the war

  • @weirdcast2 The guy with the guitar is supposed to represent the voice of reason. At least that's how I see it. No one will listen to him, as the cheerleaders (civillians) hail the war and embrace it. And the guy in the pink suit is represents all the big corperations earning money. While the people fighting is obviously soldiers :P This song is well made. And this is how I see it anyhow so I'm not saying this is how it is :)

  • Thumbs up if SMPFilms brought you here :3

  • it's "you're" not "your." Learn the difference before calling anyone an idiot, but yes, I agree with you.

  • @CautionKid3 We all know that for sure. "God is a fairy tale for those scared of the dark." - Stephen Hawking.

  • @EnigmaSkyway it also says that in the satanic bible

  • Damn shame... those Russian GP-5's are ruined because of all that goddamn paint on them.

  • I was on facebook while the video was playing. It stopped at 2:57 and I clicked on the tab to see what was up.

    I flipped.

  • 1:16 , I will some day be able to do that.

  • 3:16 fatality

  • 0:43 that dude is down and out

  • whos goin to the FEST in gainesville

to see These guys??????? i ammm bitchessssss haha love this band

  • This song is awesome, great meaning. These comments are demeaning to it's value.

  • I like this song but hate this video...
