dont chew the mentos next time by chewing it it ruins the shell which is what causes it to build lots of carbonation in the porous surface. put one in your mouth and swallow with some coke and repeat.

That was the first mistake, the soda must be Warm and not cool or cold. Ive done tested it lots of times and it never worked with cold soda, just warm.

yup, the surface of the mentos is all bumpy, and that is partly what casuses the fountian, the rest is beacause of the aspratane and caffine and that kinda shit, its berst results with diet coke, dont use the pretty color of mentos tho, it dosent work
