There is no such thing as eternal security HAL. We are assured salvation by belief and faith in Jesus. Well, guess what the greek words for "faith" and "belief" means? "Pisteuo", which is the greek word for belief, means to be fully convinced of something, while being FAITHFUL TO THAT BELIEF. In other words, We are only granted salvation if we are TRYING to be obedient to God, and are totally convinced. Hal preaches: Once saved, always saved. That's not right. (See Matthew 7:21-23).

@WorthDieing4 i love your zeal and what your saying sounds pretty sound but i can say that even when i try my hardest i cant stop sinning, maybe im not saved, maybe im deluding myself that i have a real relationship with God. i never let that possibility out of my mine. im constantly asking for God to test my faith to see what im made of and i almost always fall flat on my face. i really suck as a Christian. @stanzibritovsky ..I did struggle with all of those things at one time, and now that God has given me victory, I realize that the reason I struggled was that I had not truly repented. Fast, pray, read His word, turn off your TV, seperate yourself from whatever is holding you back, follow the spirt, and obey Jesus, He is the rewarder of those who dilligently seek Him. And be sure, bad comany corupts good character. Examine all your relationship, and your routines, dont be led around by your flesh

When we use our will to sin we trample the blood of Jesus and in doing so we nullify His sacrafice for us. "He who sins is a slave to sin and a slave is not a permanent member of the family."So if the son sets you free you will be free indeed...John 8:34-36...This verse seperates wheat from tears!

I feel that this also applied to imposed tithes and offerings now. A tithe is a 10% SACRIFICE offering. Jesus Christ -IS- our "tithes and offerings". So preachers that preach that you MUST give them tithes or yer robbing god are full of bolony. IF someone wants to chip in and help out (volunteer on their own incentive or volition) , that's kewl to contribute. But to FORCE tithing and speak of punishment is not done is malarchy. Some preachers ROB the Church, i.e. ROB GOD!
