that's not a fair comparison. H.I.M. plays a love filled, passionate, yet dark and gothic metal. Finntroll plays troll inspired, mythical death metal. Two very different types. Some hardcore death metal fans would hate H.I.M and some love inspired goth fans would hate Finntroll. I'm the later even though I like Finntroll, but I prefer H.I.M. it's all a matter of taste in music and opinion based on personality so it's not fair to compare them.
