  • 2:21◄These eyebrows've got a life of their own ಠ_ಠ

  • Did you know that John Lennon wore his signature glasses because of McGuinn`s?

  • Love that greasy, Holly-esque vocal Roger drops on "Not Fade Away."

  • LOL bass guitar shot under guitar riff @4:07

  • i'm so confused by this video

  • The Not Fade Away perf is gold.

  • i love gene and mcguinn duo,,,,wait its not gene

  • i love gene and mcguinn duo

  • Wow, their Long Tall Sally sucked. The Beatles should have just ran up there and taken over.

  • @JetBlack327 It wasn't 'their' long tall sally really. They 2 of the band members sang 2 lines.

  • Is that the guy from The Kingsmen singing the first part of Good Golly Miss Molly?

  • McGuinn and Crosby look like they're going to Vegas to open for Frank and Dean. Yikes.

  • great cover

  • Creepy and pointless show !

    Fucking idea of the producers.

Great bands like the Byrds should play their songs!

    What a SLOSH!

  • Nice singing (and playing) by Billy Preston (one of the "Shindogs")

  • @pianorman Wow was wondering who that was, thanks

  • What really jumps out in this video is the transition before our very eyes of the waning days of 50's rock and the new "long-haired" era of 60's rock epitomized by the Byrds. The Byrds almost seem out of place as the majority of this video is definitely 50's. Who would have thought in 1965 that in 2009, McGuinn, Crosby and Hillman would still be active in music?

  • little richard wrote this song but paul mccartney tore it a new one

  • Ouch, "Long tall Sally" and "Good golly..." were terrible on this video. Guys, search youtube for "jerry lee lewis shindig" to hear how it should be done.

"Not fade away" was done ok by the Byrds but not great eitehr.

  • the beatles better

  • Is that the Righteous Bros on Good Golly Miss Molly??

  • Yes at 1:36

    Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield.

  • ...try both the Byrds & the Stones covering a classic by the late great Buddy Holly you mean - McGuinn, Clark , Crosby & the rest were all huge Buddy Holly & Gene Vincent

    fans ~

  • The Byrds doing a Stones song? Who knew? Great stuff.

  • it is a buddy holly song. the stones covered it later.

  • fail.

buddy holly wrote not fade away.
