@travelswithsheila You did a nice job on this video and I agree entirely. After a grueling flight to Singapore via JFK and MUC I thought I was going to die.
While I didn't use the spa, a shower and breakfast in their Business Class lounge area made me a new person and took (a few) years off my ragged face.
The Business Class lounges in Singapore are undoubtably the best in the world and your analysis is spot on.
@DT1521 Thanks for your all too true comments. We recently flew Continental Airlines economy from Hong Kong to Newark (boo-hoo, no upgrade). Spent time in the Star Alliance lounge before that also has a shower, good food, lots and lots of reading literature. Unfortunately, that was before the flight when we were still fresh! Still, a pretty good lounge. Small, with many food choices including ice cream. Appreciate your time to watch the video and comment. Best regards, TravelsWithSheila
You can drink the water..stupid comment from an American. I traveled all over the world and never have any issue with water and it came from tab water. 20 or 30 years ago maybe but we are on the new century. get with it. and business class?? come on. go for the first.
i've made the ord-nrt-sin round trip 5-6 times and it's killer. you feel like a filthy animal when you land, and then with the jet lag, at least 12 hours after that, including a nap, you feel like you're finally on vacation.
Gotta agree with you. SIA's Silverkris Lounge is pretty amazing. Even if you're flying off in Terminal 2 you should use the new one in T3.
Yeap, superb service. I remember, on my last trip, during my meal service, I was picking at my fork in the first course. the FA noticed that and offered to change it for me to something else on the menu. That's some pretty personalised service!
And in First and Business Class, they address you by name!
Another amzing video sheila and I totally agree with you. What Singapore Airlines offers in their Bussines Class Lounges is compare to Lufthansa´s First Class Terminal. Awesome! ! ! Thanx for posting!
The service is always the biggie on Singapore Airlines. The flight attendants are almost always hovering over you to see to your comfort, unlike American carriers. And...of course, being able to stretch out. You'll have a great trip and probably disembark reluctantly. Have a great trip and thanks for viewing!
The Lufthansa lounges are great and on par with Singapore Airlines. And, it seems like more airlines are upgrading their lounges. At least, the foreign carriers are but beggers can't be choosers and I'm grateful for a chance to sit in ANY lounge.
You are not. Wish there had been You Tube years ago when I first began traveling. Would have known a lot more about what to expect and what to avoid. Thanks for watching.
That's difficult to answer. For the Malaysian side, it's a lot easier. The choices for the Indonesian side are a lot more limited if not almost non-existent. Indonesian airlines are notorious for going bankrupt, etc. and two did that while we were there. Always a challenge. I'll be posting all the details in the Fall on Travels With Sheila.
no one regrets travelling with SIA :D

@DT1521 When I saw the prices at the spa, it added years to my face. Well over $100 U.S. for anything. Thanks for watching and commenting. TWS

Great little video on the business class lounge its much appreciated.
I will be flying with Singapore Airlines later this year on the A380 and 777-300ER Business Class.
What were the most memorable aspects of your flight?
I am really looking forward to trying out the seats.
