Jason Whitlock is one of the worst people in the world. His columns are worthless, his opinions are controversial for the sake of being controversial, and Jim Rome's people NEED to understand this guy doesn't need to be anywhere near a mic. I'd love to hear this douche AFTER Ball State bombed at the end of the season...I can't believe he called out Florida State for not being relevant in football in recent history! No one outside of the MAC even knew Ball State had a program before that season.

Oh please, Weis just got his first bowl win against Hawaii; that doesn't count when you're Noter Dame. He was o-2 in bowl games against real teams.

Willingham was 21-14 in his 3 season there, Weis was 22-14 in his first 3 season; and they both lost there bowl games in that time period, so where's the big difference?

Weis had the most losses in a single season in ND history. And to date he has a lower winning % there than Ty did; but Weis gets a huge contract, then gets to keep his job.

my opinion about phone calls on the rome show is that they suck ass. not to get too off point, but these pre-scripted "takes" and "smack" that rome's callers spew forth on national radio are utter garbage. frankly i wouldn't miss them for two seconds if he got rid of them. at least whitlock's callers talk like real human beings.

for what it's worth, the clones address rome differently. they're actually quite juvenile (i laugh my ass off nevertheless). so you gotta understand that you can't turn on the radio knowing that it's whitlock (as usual when rome is on break) then expect himn to have the same chemistry as rome. we all know that whitlock is obviously a bright man. now does his style leave something to be desired? yes. but again, he's not rome
