Derringer did write this song. Don't have to look it up. I was there. I was also there to see Johnny live 17 times, most of the performances I saw were in the 70's.
just for the record RICK DERRINGER wrote this song, look up rick d. with edgar he introduces derringer and gives him credit for the song and then they play it live , fuckin awsome ! nowjohnny is one of the best blues men that have ever lived and still is !
@awickedtribe AH...thats who the drummer is! I've watched this vid 1/2 dozen times this past week trying to think who the hell the mad man is behind the drums. Knew I recognized him but just couldn't think who he is. Yeah, Bobby was in Black Oak Arkansas back in the day when double bass drummers played double bass with TWO pedals. Awesome drummer. Tom Compton, another of JW's drummers, was also one of the best around.
Bobby T is a fucking INSANE drummer...you should recognize him from Black Oak Arkansas ....yea...jim dandy to the rescue.....awesome ,AWESOME...DRUMMER!!!

Saw John and Rick in Seattle in 70. Blazing relentless guitar playing. Fantastic. One of my favorite shows of the era.
