  • Winter is the greatest

  • yep Rick Derringer

  • Derringer did write this song. Don't have to look it up. I was there. I was also there to see Johnny live 17 times, most of the performances I saw were in the 70's.

  • just for the record RICK DERRINGER wrote this song, look up rick d. with edgar he introduces derringer and gives him credit for the song and then they play it live , fuckin awsome ! nowjohnny is one of the best blues men that have ever lived and still is !

  • Ha Ha Ha Ronnie James Dio on drums and Ben Stiller on bass!!!Johnny rules thanks for posting

  • who cares who wrote it. Johnny Winter is freaking awesome and his lightning phrases are just phenomenal.

  • Its Bobby torello on drums and Jon Paris on bass. Jon is also a solid 6 string guitarist in his own band the Jon Paris band.

  • @awickedtribe AH...thats who the drummer is! I've watched this vid 1/2 dozen times this past week trying to think who the hell the mad man is behind the drums. Knew I recognized him but just couldn't think who he is. Yeah, Bobby was in Black Oak Arkansas back in the day when double bass drummers played double bass with TWO pedals. Awesome drummer. Tom Compton, another of JW's drummers, was also one of the best around.

  • It does look a little like BOA's drummer-Tommy Aldridge, but it isn't

  • Oke
