@lancedboyle i predict the europe and / or the us will go cashless by 2017 +/- 3 yrs....how will we buy our droogs? Everything could be used for good or bad (nuclear/atomic bomb). I don't trust the same gov't who developed the atomic bomb knowing ALL of my habits!

not sure how the new york train system works, but if they require tickets like they do in australia and they get checked by transit officers, whats stopping someone from simply saying they have paid with their card when in actual fact they jumped the barrier.

possibly a stupid question but im rather curious.

@iplaymusicyo Well, in Toronto, Canada, we have barriers like in New York and we pay either cash, tokens, or a metropass. Anyone can jump a barrier though, but there's usually security around these barriers, either monitoring via security cameras or in person. I know it's different from other places in the world where they use a ticket system with random checks.

I also forgot to mention that we don't carry tickets around with us if we've dispensed a token or money.
