  • I've always loved this. Bought it on vinyl - 'Blues Alone' - in 1968 still got it!

  • it still moves me...sad/sad/blues for ever.

  • It's John.

  • My heart cries, when I hear this song, absolutely beautiful, and so is your video.

Too bad it's in Bb, so the little kids will have to tune up their guitars a half step in order to join John, or use one of their capo in the first position.

  • Sorry it is John himself!

  • Is that Peter Green on vocals?

  • @custardflan I think it might be Walter Trout

  • If you don't have the album "Blues Alone", you are missing some of John's best and early works. At 19, listening to 8 tracks, this was one of my favorite albums. He told it like it was.

  • @cptbillywilly

  • For my the best songs from the John Mayall.

  • Perfect

  • My favourite Mayall tune. Used to hear this on our college radio station in the early 70's. Lots of good music those days. Huge, huge talent. What happened?

  • Used to play this at uni in the late 60's, was on the "Blues Alone" album. Loved John Mayall and all the great blues music that came out in that era. We seem to have lost our way in the mid 70's with Glam Rock and Punk, and now what have we, yes, rap and Simon Cowell and the X Factor. I am so glad i lived in an era where musicians lived for their music and not for the fame and amount of money they could make. How many of you X Factor lot will still be performing live at 76, not many

  • @mercermaclisa ..

Good Comments......Saw JM at "Mothers" in Birmingham late 68 and last year near Melbourne...

  • i love J. Mayall and this song.....

  • My favorite.

  • so hard to find this song...

  • Legend......57 albums....thousands of live shows and still touring at 76.

  • This is my all-time favorite John Mayall tune, just him on organ & a drummer. I love how you can hear the bass pedal squeak on the drum kit. I bought this on vinyl in the 70's, & still have it.

  • Can somebody please help me with the chords of this song

    Thank you,!

  • 5,000,000*'s for this upload. One of best on you tube, thank you so much.

  • For Kathleen F. Bisberg

    1949 -2007

The love of my life for 29 years , 7 months.

    J.C.

  • Delirante

  • Mayall's finest moment as a songwriter and as a performer. Drums by Keef Hartley, everything else by the man himself.

  • beautifull!, 5*/ fav.
