@pcv25000 Yep, you can replace them, but after a few thousand miles later it may come back. Just an '04 - '08 5.4L thing. Nothing is mechanically wrong. Just an annoying sound.

Hey man I have a 2004 fx4 with the 5.4 in it and it has a ticking noise coming from what i think is the belt or some puley, did u have this hapen to u and if so what did you do? thanks man....

@pcv25000 You sure its not just the cam phasers? On a warm idle they make a exhaust leak/tick sound. PErfectly normal, just annoying at times. Resembles a Diesel engine

@pcv25000 is prolly an exaust manifold fords are known for it i got a 06 ford f250 fx4 and already had to replace it it had a recall and got it fixed for free

how'd you paint your headlights? and how much it cost? and how you make them look like that? details please!! haha I know alot of questions just dying to get me some headlights like that.

@manchester6994 Remove the lens by baking each headlamp in an oven at 200 for 10 minutes to heat and melt the silicone, pry the lens off. mask off the parking light chrome section, remove the headlamp flashing background with torq bolts. scuff the chrome headlamp interior shell up with 300 grit, shoot it with plastic adhesion promoter, then paint them with Krylon Fushion paint. I used Satin Black for a non glossy look.

lol yeah, it took me 7.5hrs of straight detailing inside, out, on top, underneath, and in between. Also the bond time of synthetic wax.

Very carefully, I clean the plastics mostly, with an APC, Meguiars to be exact. And only mist it with the hose. Some like to keep the engine running while doing so, I prefer to leave it off but run it at idle once done.

megs g110, 3m super compound or something like that, megs medium cut cleaner, fine cut cleaner and swirl removal in that order, i find it easier to work most aggressive to least aggressive because you wont get as much micro marring

same here dude, i did quite a bit of wheelin in the winter because there is no mess, last summer i went wheelin twice, this summer i have been once and it was BAD, i got a video up of it. it was a $45 wash then i went home and detailed her.

oh sweet. Its kind of a rare thing to see up in PA here but the black painted headlamps is pretty common, one of those little things that make a difference and only costs $10. Did my fog lamps too.

No open intake is going in my truck, they're not healthy. Enclosed only, and I prefer non oiled filters. Volant makes better kits but I believe I will just work on my stock one to take in more air after I get a tune for it.

lol, kinda hard to see when your have tinted windows and mud smeered on them and your in an area your very unfamiliar with. A soaked wash cloth will clean the seats fine and get the door and other plastics fine, then just a general cleaning/detailing inside and its all good.
