I use to belong to these people (cough) when I was fired for whistleblowing. I won a hearing where the judge said I* was wrongfully fired. They (WI) never stopped harassing and my 2 year old daughter. What help did I get? NOTHING!!!! My patient was thrown in jail after he put up ALL the documents in his case. The judge prosecuted him because the LAW states you cannot use a judges name. Lawyer complaints are in private. Grease up and bend over!!!
Rachel is so right and so articulate on this issue of prisons in America that it strikes me as odd that she never brings this issue up on her show. By far the most important civil rights issue in the western world today is the incarceration of minorities in the USA, which in the case of black men is at a rate that's 5X higher than it was in Apartheid South Africa. How come that a person who wrote her phd thesis on the subject doesn't even mention this except on obscure events like this?!
@madashelldude maybe because she also knows that minorities are much more likely to be the victims of a crime and that minorities are the ones that most benefit from crime being kept under control
@AntaresInScorpius "Crime being kept under control" typical bs I used to hear growing up in Ceausescu's Romania, the communists were obsessed with keeping "crime under control". Of course a more efficient way of doing that would be to stop the welfare for rich SOBs and their corporations and instead spend on inner city economy, ie. with high speed rail and mass transit projects. Exactly the type of investments our competitors the Chinese and EU is using to create jobs and we don't cause ...?!
