its a 2" inlet/outlet on the muffler. the only other mod on the engine is the intake which is a cold air from a 5.9 limited grand cherokee. theres a slight power loss at very low rpms but other than that everything is a good gain, i can lite up 33" tires in second gear. i hope that answered your questions
