They might now be the highest sellers on the label, but they've made some of the best album of the past decades. Mastodon deserves better.

- I don't get it your point man. You don't want the label to make money for the band??? What will they live on if they don't have a label? Kids think every rock star is rich - just understand that even a band like Mastodon is making hardly any money at all. Eventually these guys may get rich but I promise you, they are investing every day & every dollar they've got trying to reach the fans & they really are risking bankruptcy & the little money they have made so that this ride will continue.

@ToolFan68 look you can buy all the remission combs you want but when it comes down to it they make most of their money from shows. i fully support their band as a huge fan of mastodon and their other band or projects. but when the label is selling combs, like 10 different versions of special super deluxe CTS vinyls and other bullshit, its clearly just so they label can make money. it sort of cheapens an aspect of the band to me, and that pisses me off. great guys, awesome music, but its not SST
