this might sound a little indian, but might i suggest a bit of coconut oil on your hair about once a week... i've been doing it FOREVER... and it not only makes your hair long, but thick and strong . hope you guys found this to be helpful :D

when you mix honey and avocado together and scrub it in your hair, this will fix your split ends! when you have split ends, it makes your hair grow slower. and i would say to trim your hair once evry 2-3 weeks. and i would cut it 1/2 an inch. hope this passage helped!!! this video didnt help either. :P

i never trim my hair ,ever and it keeps growing long, always has ....i had some breakage and split ends in the front but i just left it alone and it just kept on growing long...your hair grows out of your scalp not from the bottom so who cares if its split or broke just snip it yourself , just always condition your ends. You'll be alright.......as long as your hair is not super damaged. Then do overnight conditioning.

I get trims every 2-3 months, use shampoos & conditioners that maintain moisture, and I always use a leave in conditioner. I try to minimize my hair dryer time by letting it air dry while I do my makeup :)

You should cut the split ends. What you should do is treat your hair to make it stronger so you won't get split ends in the first place thus making it "grow longer" because you didn't visit the hair dresser that month. Take good care of your hair ppl so you don't have to get it cut in the first place, that's when you'll start seeing it "grow longer" :D

Umm, you also need to trim the hair that is trying to meet up with the "perimeter" or else they will get split ends before they even get close, just dont cut off as much as you do the "perimeter", when you get those split ends and you aren't trimming them, they can go up as far as your ears, which is bad becuase there is no way to fix split ends, just cutting them off. THere are vertain products that can temporarily "glue" them back together but it causes more split ends and is not healthy.

? Well, I suppose if someone really has no clue at all about their own hair...but really? Sure, patience is always involved, but you don't need to see your "designer" often to get it evened out. once every 3-4 months is good and then just get the bottom layer trimmed about 1/4" or so each time.
