Coach Valerie, of the AKC, recommends wraps to avoid the bell slipping on the forearm when you start to get sweaty. He says he doesn't need them for padding or protection. However, I've found that I have no desire to toughen my arms up to that degree. So yeah, I use the wrist bands for a bit of padding as well.
I have a very slight frame - especially the wrists, so I'd be very interested in these wrist bands. Any suggestion as to where to get them? Thank you.
how heavy is that clubbell?

Wow, Adam, that was great! I REALLY like the single-leg hops with the band. That is fantasic!

I just picked up a pair of wrist straps at the pharmacy. They cost 4-5$ each.

Do you wear the wrist straps to protect your forearms from the kettlebells?
(Seems like a good idea... I have learned to snatch without banging my wrists too much, but every now and again I give myself a clanger.)
