It does sound similar to a lion, but thus far I am impressed by TrailRiderResearch's videos. I'd like to know the locality, temperature, time of year and biological census of the area before I made an absolute conclusion. It's an African Lion. It sounds NOTHING like any Bigfoot vocalization I have ever heard. I recorded this sound sample and ran it through a sound spectrum analysis. I compared that result with the territorial roar of a male African Lion. The spectrograms are almost identical. Unless he can present other evidence, I say this is a hoax.

It does sound similar to a lion, but thus far I am impressed by TrailRiderResearch's videos. I'd like to know the locality, temperature, time of year and biological census of the area before I made an absolute conclusion. Never-the-less, just off the top of my head, if he thinks its the real thing, I'll go with it. He was there, I wasn't.

Well you may think it is a Bigfoot but as an experienced hunter, the sounds you are hearing is a Bull Moose! This is the call they use to lure in a Cow Moose. I know I have heard and seen bull moose do this!

Definitely sounds like a lion. Not accusing anyone here of faking because we really dont know what sounds these creatures are capable of making. While it doesnt sound like most recordings you hear of sasquatch and does sound a lot like an African Lion,with the size of sasquatch it could be capable of this jarring type roar. Interesting nonetheless.
