I capture and produce in widescreen so it looks better. If i didn't everything would look skinny and funky.

The bars happen to show up natively b/c of the settings on the 360. I assume you use the Dazzle, and when I capture on the 360, I automatically get widescreen, even though the aspect ratio on my TV is defaulted to 4:3 with composite video cables.

I agree that the widescreen looks better when doing things like this.
