Now my question is: who is the tenor? Is it perhaps Juan Sabate, who sang Prince Leopold on the 1974 RCA LP of highlights from LA JUIVE (on which Anna Moffo sang Princess Eudoxie)? Some of the intonation IS, indeed, iffy, but in the main, this is a good performance of music from an opera which was a repertory "staple" 120-130 years ago but is "forgotten" today.
@taytaytoo Interesting isn't it.. She was often praised for that beautiful mezzo like quality on the bottom and the middle.. .. and.. alot of criticism of her top.. But in the end.. The top held out, and the bottom and middle went to the point where it was difficult for her to make a sustained sound without dropping the pitch. I suspect this could have been fixed, but she had probably by this time a ton of bad habits by this time.

Painful. Too late in her career, poor dear. She was one of the greats, but not in 1975.
