  • I bought the tape back in high school and I would play it every day!! My favorite song!

  • Marvellous, just marvellous. This won't even suffice. Every time I listen to Marvin I find myself in lack of words and touched deeply in my very heart and soul.

  • Je t'aime Marvin !!!!

  • Lovely,

    Bless You Mr.Marvin Gaye.

  • This is another one of many arrangements that I've never heard before. Knowing before on how Marvin wanted to sing songs of Sinatra and just learned about songs that Marvin wrote for Sammy Davis. This young man lost his life right at the peak of so many achievements, and will be remembered.

  • The King of Soul.....Hands Down.....

  • Marvin left a legacy untouched. May our legacy be as wonderful.

  • God Bless You Brotha, Rest In Peace...=,(

  • A song packed with spirit! Marvin had substance of love and understanding in his soul!

    GOD BLESS MARVIN!

  • It's been way over 2 decades and Marvin's soul still lives on, more powerful than existing artist of today, So soulful, the so called soulful artists of today bow down to Marvin. He just soothes my soul. I wonder how it was living in their times hey?

  • thank you Marvin

    I LOVE YOU

  • its like im physchic and shit-Cam'ron

  • BinLah on myspace & itunes

  • Check out Dreams of a lifetime, the song from this Album, Very few will ever Master the Hearts of the peps the way this man has.

  • This Album released after his deaf, said 2 b the soulnheart of the man.Marvin was truly 1 man with much soul. This Alb released was the music that he wanted 2 do while /w Motion, yet Barry told him that it wasn't the rite time, that the peps wouldn't go 4 it.This Alb was the best for me. Will alwys b my Heart. This Alb like a transition, Marvin knew that his time was near deaf. Was like a Bio,from the beginning 2 the end of his life. If ever u have the opp. to find this Alb,it's a must get.

  • Sound like Marvins marching home song to the heavens!Miss you Marvin....

  • can somebody hook me up with the lyrics? im having trouble finding them

  • It seems the lyrics to this album is nearly impossible to find. Hell, I can't even find the lyrics to "sanctified lady"!

Anywho as for this song. It was originally recorded in the late '70s as a stream of conscience type of concept album. Marvin toyed around with it for a good long while but never polished it up. Would've been interesting to see how it would've sounded if completed.

  • I've been looking for this, thanks!

  • oops! just remembered that Dream of a Lifetime was the last track. what a dick. been a long day. still a great song though. i'll get me coat.

  • Love this album, I stumbled across the cassette and played the heck out of it!! Very good material... although CBS was looking to make a quick buck... after Marvin's untimely death.
