  • I loved that annotation at 0:14.

And the other one. I think he plays this marvellous too.

  • Some interesting comments. AB is great! Best success.

  • very nice

  • so you've clicked refresh 8000 times on you're own video? You're one lonely and stupid individual. And yes, this version still sucks.

  • @chefjaike No he hasn't. I have listened to this several times, because it is great.

  • luketheedge thanksn for poisting but you're a child. making schubert and brendel talk to each other was.... hmm a little bit ridiculous actually.

  • @gouloum2222 dont now what you mean...must explain yourself!

  • @Luketheedge well i don't know what i meant too. have a nice day !

  • @gouloum2222

Get your nose out of the air and shut the fuck up, pleaes.

  • @TheCrystalRiver haha I would... if I knew only why.

  • @gouloum2222

You're conceited. I can tell by the way you mix your words. Maybe you're young and haven't gotten the piss kicked out of you yet. You will. In some way or another.

    God Bless.

  • @TheCrystalRiver LOL what the hell are you talking about ?ooh maybe you're just not writing to the right person. but if you are, unfortunatly i can't answer you properly i don't know what " haven't gotten the piss kicked out of you "means. can you tell me what it means ? it's always interesting to learn some new vocabulary.

  • @gouloum2222

No, I'm writing the right person.

I said you have a bad attitude. You're what we call a "snob", here in the United States. And c'est pourquoi il y a beacoup de personnes qui n'aime pas les Francais.

En l'Etats Unis, un personne avec ton attitude avoir beacoup des problemes:) Comprendre ca ou non? Casse-toi, maintenant

  • @TheCrystalRiver well i guess in france you would have a lot of problems too . you can't say to a person that you don't know "casse toi maintenant ". it's rude, "comprendre ca ou non" ? and about me being a snob, i think i've already answered that. i asked you why you said that and couldn't give me a proper answer. here in france, we call that being an idiot.

  • @TheCrystalRiver PS : i am not retarded i'm just french (lol )

  • And I'm pretty sure the only reason why american people think french people are snob is just because they don't scream when talking, don't laugh or smile for nothing, don't shout OMGOOOOD when seeing the smallest insect... well too be simple( how nice i am ), they're just not americans.

  • @TheCrystalRiver Well after all that, if you keep thinking i'm snob i would have the proof that you 're a pure idiot who can't understant irony, becoz a 5 year old child would understand that when saying all that about americans i just tried to confront you to your stupidty and your prejudices.

  • It's not butter; it's bandaids or something on his fingertips.

  • Wow. Beautiful. :)

  • Though there isn't a big difference I prefer Brendel's earlier records (1972 and 1974) of Impromptus somewhat more ...

  • 0:34 to 0:40 in the left hand. Sounds quite tempestous and it falls back on itself. Played it similarly when I used to play.

If only I could be proficient as Brendel though...

  • very nice

  • is there a version of franz playing this piece on youtube?

  • cant be...he's dead since 1828. would be a miracle ^^

  • :( aww that's sad. lolol. I don't know bout these musicians but i like this song :D

  • best one ever

  • Beatiful tone. I recomend also Richter 1958 Sofia but this is so magical.

  • Gee, I think this is wonderful, and I am not really a fan of Brendel. The tempo is slow enough so that I can hear the melodic flow of the eighthnotes, which is often lost. The overall dynamic shape within each phrase is coherent and we;;-proportioned. The bass is balanced strongly enough to clarify the harmony without interrupting the top line. Brendel has recorded many things without this much nuance, in my opinion. This is really, really first class. Thank you so much for posting!

  • who cares about speed?

  • who cares?

  • I think this is a little to lively

  • uuaaah...sorry but this is the worst interpretation of this masterpiece i've ever heard

  • oh dear...sounds like revenge! My comment on your vid was'nt meant any harm. I dont like your uploaded interpretation of this piece but this isnt something personal. Giving only a copied comment and a bad assessment is childish. Seriously assess the work of Alfred Brendel and dont be miffed!

  • Hey LUKETHEEDGE ! the little animations are really funny ! Great post !!

hey ! he ought to have accelerated at the end .

well for the moment i stay on horowitz version though i think this one is better in the sense .

  • Well, thank you ELBARTOROWITZ, the animations came just "off-the-cuff" ;)

Unfortunately i could not find the interpretation of Horowitz on YouTube. I also like Horowitz and i would like to hear him playing this masterpiece. But Brendels version is my "first love" and thats why i think i stay on his version though i love Horowitz, especially his Chopin interpretations!

    Cheers
