the whole Transformers franchise has been shat on with these 2 films and most people seem to be excepting this because they think this is what the Transformers should be. Anybody notice how the Autobots keep scanning new alt-modes that aren't even available to the public? I mean, Bumblebee scanned a Camaro that wouldn't come out for at least two years, and Sideswipe scanned a car that won't even be released.

you see, sometimes a car company will put an unreleased car on the road. not to show it off, but to test it on city terrain, so they can make improvements on the car's performance. an autobot, by chance, could've just seen one of these "test cars" and just scanned it.
