@FutureSeal94 when you get your car, get a comprehensive first aid kit to put in the trunk/ glove box in case of an accident (whether you were involved or not). trust me, it comes in handy. you can get the bag on countycom(dot)com or you can get something similar at your local army surplus store. it' should be by the alice packs/ duffel bags.

Water does go "off " if exposed to air just like anything else.
One of the ways to have " good " water that last a long time is go and buy sealed bottled water from the store and don't open it until you need it , BUT this will not last forever as the plastic will break down and bacteria to grow.
Another way is to use a Glass or Stainless steel bottle and once you have filled them drop in a water puri tab or a few drops of iodine once ever 4-6 month's.
No I don't, you do. If plastic was biodegradeable do you think that there would be 10 year old water bottles in the woods near my house. I've 25 year old shotgun shells in the woods as well so plastic does not break down or at least not readily.

It's a silver colored blanket that is found in many first aid/survival kits. The silver color helps redirect heat to whoever is wrapped in one. They're cheap, so pick some up for emergencies.
Hi, nice EDC bag. That snakebite kit is proven useless and even dangerous in the field. Cutting an 'X' over the injection site and attempting to suck out some of the venom doesn't work.
First-aid for snakebites is getting medical attention FAST. Nothing else you can do. A sawyer-extractor is a far better option because it can also be used for insect-bites.

Salt breaks down plastic ......... water has salt in it even if its only a trace amount. And this is what makes bacteria grow in the water..........

Plastic doesn't break down from salt, and water will grow bacteria in a water bottle. I don't know what is wrong with you.

the razoe is there to cut opne the skin to bleed out the poison, right aroudn the wound, but its been shown that this is an opld technique, and if you dont stop the blood flow rightr away aftre the bite that part wotn hekp at all, the best thgin you cna do is to gte to a doctor and know what snake bit you so you cna gte a vaccine...

Great Video, Cutlerylover. I have pretty much the same Bag, but mine is a Condor Outdoor Bag, same exact design though. I could see why two different companies went with the same design, it's great for EDC and haha I have the same thing, a Mag Lite in that Pocket with and LED Conversion.

I'm not really an expert on snakes, or snake bites.... But if I'm not mistaken, the latest opinion is the kits do more harm than good.
They've actually removed it from the newer Boy Scout Handbooks (my older edition has it, though... So it was actually removed, just not neglected.)

i just want to let you know that sometimes the venom from a snake is already circulating through your blood after 4-5 seconds and by that time you will need anti-venom... just so you can be aware of that

You should keep olive oil for snake bites too cause if for some reason some one had to suck out poisned it coats the mouth nice vid

It's a silver colored blanket that is found in many first aid/survival kits. The silver color helps redirect heat to whoever is wrapped in one. They're cheap, so pick some up for emergencies.

Hi, nice EDC bag. That snakebite kit is proven useless and even dangerous in the field. Cutting an 'X' over the injection site and attempting to suck out some of the venom doesn't work.
First-aid for snakebites is getting medical attention FAST. Nothing else you can do. A sawyer-extractor is a far better option because it can also be used for insect-bites.
