  • I wondered why there were tire tracks on the roof of my car. xD

  • St Maarten is on the "Netherland Antilles" that's why you see a 747 KLM commercial jet there but KLM is Dutch but Netherland uses it too.

  • Oh putain un a320 air france !

  • nice to see pilots waving

  • loving the 757's

  • The pilot's meaning of the waving his hand: you guys are going to be blown away by the thrust, BYE! xD

  • One thing i have always wondered. you see people constantly taking clips of take offs and as you'd expect they get blown all over the place. Has anybody ever thought of using a Tripod (if there is room to) or even a gorilla pod to keep the cameras stable

  • you deserve a bravery award for making it out alive i almost died once or twice

  • esse aeroporto é coisa de louco, o piloto tem que ser muito bommmm.

  • LOl @ the danger sign

  • when did you go there?

  • this has gotta be one of the sickest airports in the world!

  • Air france have 2 a320's which are only used in the antilles there

  • @kenan49 so they don't fly to the main France??? really interesting :)

  • Why is there a small airfrance plane isnt that for domestic flights in France and int in europe???

  • @8snoopy22 I believe that aircraft flies within the Caribbean. Half of St. Maarten is French so it makes sense that they would do that.

  • @DNthenumber10 in french saint martin

  • @8snoopy22 Air France is also flying to the USA

  • @8snoopy22 Air France is also flying to the USA

  • @8snoopy22 it more than likely serves the french carribean and french guyana

  • My dream to be there like you :(

  • Great video! :)

  • fantastic video loved it so much

  • im suprised the plane at 9:00 didnt stall

  • It looks like a steep climb, but was performing a normal climb during a turn, so the angle seems higher.

  • @Robusto94 Around 85 degrees or more the plane may stall. :S

  • the best video auf st maarten!!! nice

  • finally a video of other planes beside the 747 and a340

  • look at the water at 8:34!

  • Amazing! If You made a DVD of this i'd buy it

  • I would too!

  • wow that cessna at 1:34 was pretty high... almost too high but ok...

  • you mightve misjudged its height because of its size

  • how often did the planes land when you stood there?

  • For some reason I loved when the F/O waved to you.

  • thanks for posting.....very interesting...

  • how often do planes come in and land?

  • Every half a second

  • y ddidnt you record your plane landing into snt martenn?

  • I did. Check my "Real Footage" playlist.

  • This is Princess Juliana Airport in St. Maarten - Dutch side and St. Martin - French side - one island. Air France and KLM from Holland fly in daily. No other place like it in the world to watch planes while sipping a cool drink on the beach!

  • Nice video... i can't wait for us to go there this summer in our Columbia 400

  • roflcopter ftw

  • 2:20 Why would air france have a320's on this side of the world? I thought that those were only used for domestic flights from france

  • Half of St. Maarten is French, so I believe it's based in SXM (or some other French island) and they use it to fly within the Caribbean, kind of like American Eagle flies a bunch of planes out of the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

  • Ok that makes sense.

  • that 747 told them

  • I am just going through all the videos you have made and watching them because they are all soo great

  • freaking awesome video!

  • Coolest place in the world

  • u kept turning the camera away when they took off lol :(

  • that water looks so cold!!

  • Good filming very ncie video!

  • Thanks!

  • Awesome vid, thanks for posting it!

  • Thanks!

  • very nice video dude!! i enjoy watching :) 5/5 and goes to favorites.. i was looking for videos like this :)

  • i never knew a320's operated in this airport...i'm curious though, is princess juliana an island? and is it far away from other countries? nice video btw i that's the best airport in the world to spot planes. amazing.

  • Yes, it's an island, southeast of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It's about 3 hours from Florida by air.

  • you have earned yourself one more subscriber! nice video!

  • Thanks!

  • haha i liked the part you vs the a340

  • 3:35 pilot saying good bye!

  • NICE VIDEO!

But i ask why the A320 of Air France is there?

  • Air France did some flights around the french islands. I think.

  • lol Me vs. A340

  • damn!! it must be so cool being at that beach.. but a bit noisy too.. nice movie who got here!

  • I just come back from SXM with 14 little videos took from Sonesta hotel and Maho Beach, this is really a great place

  • You must've gotten some good shots from the Sonesta!

  • took from Sonesta my 2 favorites are a KLM at sunset, and one Air France at night + jetblast on the beach with people

(you can see them on my channel)

  • wow what a beutuful day! how much does it take to get there from portland, oregon to that airport on united airlines?

  • Thanks for the comment. I suggest you do a search on the United Airlines website or some other ticket service, as fares can widely vary depending on days and dates.

  • Been there!!!

  • I really want to go there! hows the Swimming? good beaches?

  • The ones in St. Maarten are pretty good, but I've seen better in places like Cancun. The swimming/snorkeling is also really good because the water is so calm. However, at the nearby island of Anguilla...wow...best beaches I've ever seen.

  • i've been 2 cancun!

  • Nice, but where is "THE" landing of a 747!?

    5/5

  • Haha thanks for the rating. Unfortunately, the only 747 flying to St. Maarten at the time was Corsair's flight, which operated two times a week: Saturday and Thursday. I couldn't film it on Saturday because it was the day I arrived (and one week later departed) and I couldn't film it on Thursday because I was on a full-day tour outside of St. Maarten. It was probably the biggest disappointment of the trip, also because I had really screwed up Corsair's takeoff video and I wanted to do it again.

  • wow. 5/5.

  • didja go alone ?

  • great!!!

  • I like writings on some of the aircarft. Especially the jetBlue one.

  • Whoa

  • too impressive

  • how much did that trip cost?

  • Sorryy great work =)

  • Thanks :)

  • nice vid DN geat work =)

  • I don't why TNCM is the only airport in FSX with its building and surrounding building showing with the lowest senery settings.

Oh yah, how many planes did you record during the whole 90 minutes?

  • -I don't know if this is the correct answer, but there are some locations in FSX that by default come with special scenery, that is, they have a level of detail greater than places with normal scenery. (Think of it like add-on scenery from Microsoft) St. Maarten is one of those locations.

  • Do you know any other locations?

  • I'm not really sure. Las Vegas has to be one, though.

  • -A lot more than I showed in the video, but the thing is that the majority of what I recorded is extra stuff that really isn't that interesting. Pretty much all the clips were cropped to a fraction of their original length, showing only the "good stuff." For example, the clip of the Air France A340 landing is more than 2 minutes long by itself because I started recording from the base leg of the approach. So...yeah...I recorded over 90 minutes, but only about 10% of it was really any good.

  • when didja go to St Maarten ?

  • If you recall some time ago I told everyone I was going to be away for a while, but I never gave a single detail. (You even asked me about it but I didn't respond.) I guess I can say... surprise! :)

  • yeah i remember, didja record the takeoffs and landings from LAX and SXM ?
