Sounds just like the Ozarks, too, plus an occasional tree frog, and preceded by a twilight overture of dog day cicadas. I miss those sounds.

@Arkeden Hi, I live in Marietta and new to GA. Last night a bug flew past me and it's nothing like I have ever seen or heard. It was so loud and sounded like a car engine. Would you happen to know what this is? I have scoured the internet trying to find out what it was. It freaked me out since I have a bug phobia!
