You are having an allergic reaction to something. The same thing happens to me. If I eat anything with MSG, I will wake up with a swollen uvula. You should go see an allergist to determine what you are allergic to.

My uvula is swollen now for some reason, it feels like I need to swallow something but it doesen't get swallowed and it rests on my tongue triggering a gag reflex. It's horrible!

me too. i thought something was stuck in my throat so i tried over and over again to caugh it up. didnt realized it was my uvula till i looked at it.

@trakstar012001 Oh my god, I did the same exact thing earlier. Now I have this swollen uvula in the back of my throat and I can barely talk.
