your hose blocked the movement of the butterfly valve in the carb. it was jammed at one throttle level. you may want to try modifying the air filter housing to attach the hose, and allow the natural vacuum of the intake suck in the fuel

I think its awesome what you are doing with hydrogen, however, two things... what is confusing the hell out of me is the fact that the first time you put the hose into the bubbler to show its producing hydrogen, on your way to set down the camera, the hose fell on the ground when you tried to put it into the carb. then when the camera is set down, magically the hose is already in the carb.

@vindennl48 chemical reaction. Potassium Hydroxide (KOH, Lye) water and aluminum = hydrogen, and a lot of heat, koh and water are dangerous

i am convinced this will run a lawn mower engine, but as with converting one to run on propane.. you can simply put a hose on your torch nozzle and poke it in the carb and start opening the valve till you can start it.. and as i have found.. the higher combustable fuel.. the less air you need so i am wondering if you greatly restricted your air intake.. you might get a bit more of a run on it

Nice video. Make sure you have a good seal around the tube going into the carburetor so that the hydroxy doesn't evaporates to the atmosphere

Good project, hope you get more output of gas. Something to remember that you are only converting energy from electricity to a gas, so you should make a comparison between an electric lawnmower to your HHO mower to see what works better.

Sir, i believe there is too much nitrogen present where the gas meets the carb.May i suggest to Seal off where you place the hose in the carb then let it fill with HHO gas for a few moments to push out the pre existing air(mostly inert pesky nitrogen).That should do the trick.Nitrogen is the enemy! GREAT VIDEO - IT WILL WORK !

I think you should try increase your HHO production by not using B.Soda, but NaOH or KOH. It will increase production many times!

I think there was more power produced by pulling the cord than from the HHO. Also, what effect would adjusting the choke or throttle have on this?

I did get this thing run mostly 25 seconds or more. But after that container started make little jumps and water steam was extrimely hight! Then container melted down :)

You are very close. The lawnmower will run but you MUST retard the timing for a later spark to adjust for the premature ignition of Hydrogen. Gasoline burns @ 14,000 fps and Hydrogen burns @ 40,000 fps. Retard the timing a few degrees. Your lawnmower has a "keyed" timing. Adjust it at the flywheel.

I realy don't know. But when it produce near 5LPM it are realy something, if it blow up. So I was on some distance from this cell, I didn't want all that NaOH water will fly on me. It was realy risky, but I did hear blow ups 2 times, and they happened in carb. So nothing did blow up. Nice video response!

Hey Careica! Good job! Easy enough with alum and an akaline solution :) No need for pesky electricity. It looks like you are half way to running it :) Either more aluminum, or what about a water bottle collector between your cell and your engine where you could build up a little of the hydrogen before it is injected :)

This was just try, that can I run it or not. I am building now better Hydrogen Cell and wish it could power my lawnmower.
