@YxBlackenedxY because he hit star power instead...you can hit the two middle drums instead of hiting anything and it will count but i dont think you will get points for the notes so it's actually smarter to activate before but he didn't ..i do that all the time; i try to do so when i have to already hit one of them and no other notes besides that one...of course i'm not as good but he's legit

if he missed at :29 or :30 the fret board would have jumped, but it didn't. Guitar hero is notorious for letting stuff by the hit line when you activate. Even does it sometimes when you hit late. Hell, when I fc'd "today" on gh:wt (not bragging) i know for absolutely sure i missed one note, even my wife saw it but the game gave it to me anyway. full note streak and all. This is what happens when a company produced 700 versions of the same game a year.
