  • please post up a full version of this. thanks

  • 太短鸟~

  • Anybody have the full version of this dance?

  • Japan's traditional culture is mostly from the Tang dynasty in China, when China was at its peak of power.

  • @Amanovis - No, the Japanese culture is basically a holdover of the Chinese Han culture. Japanese don't like to change and prefer to hang on to tradition. Their kimono is a simplified version of the Chinese Han clothing. Because of Central Asian influence, Tang Chinese women's clothing were a lot of daring and revealing while the men's clothing were a lot of militant for horse riding. But Japan always revered Chinese culture like Europeans revered Latin.

  • This is 100% Chinese.

China is to Asia what Greece and Rome is to Europe.

Japan is especially good at learning from other cultures and making it their own.

  • lol, culture thieves... XD

Well, they do have their own style.

  • What I meant was, all cultures learn and influence each other. To call someone a culture thief would be unfair. We ourselves borrowed heavily from other cultures, too. It would only show our own ignorance and arrogance to go around saying that everyone else is copying from us and that we are the utmost original ones.

  • 很好,很强大!

  • japan→study→china

  • it think this is great

but is it a chinese or a japanese danse?

  • it's chinese classical dance

  • @Weidenzweig This is traditional Chinese dance. It is distinctly different from Japanese dance. Japanese costumes are less flowy and more rigid.

  • @hellowjp - Japanese don't dance. They pose. Then they change the pose. They switch from pose to pose in slow motion. The idea is to strike a beautiful pose to make a tableau. There is no dancing.

  • @Weidenzweig Japanese know how to copy.

  • wow! wonderful.

    xie xie
