You know....when I go to some of the current Northern nights it makes me feel kinda sad. Because we aren't the young people we were and we can't dance with the same energy. Its almost impossible to explain to young people the raw energy and simply fantastic dancers that used to frequent the NS scene - we can't demonstrate now (or only in 10 second bursts!!). Its only as I've got older that I realise what a unique joyful experience I am lucky to have lived through. So lucky - KTF!

love Northern Soul and this track but this video and these people are not a good advertisement for the Northern Soul scene, certainly not the way i see it anyhow. Least make a big of an effort people, i wouldn't wear shit like that round the house, sorry.
Shit like What? please explain as all I see is most people wearing shirts or t shirts and having a good time, most of these people are one's that went to the casino and continue to go to venues most weekends up and down the country maybe you can suggest what they should be wearing
this track met with much derision at the time when it was classed as pop music by the "in crowd" its one of the few tracks i know that sounds to me anyway,more soulful now than it did back in the day
