  • shock in 3-2-1

  • ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Feel The Ribs A-Breakin"...

    Um,

    Fail?

  • @DJaBookByItsCover Well not really... I'm paramedic in civil defense of Germany and its said that every good resuscitation comes along with 2-3 broken rips...

  • @DerRetter93 It Is A Small Price To Pay...

  • @DJaBookByItsCover I was taught that doing CPR properly you didn't break ribs, so I'm with you on that. I've been at a number of resuscitations and never seen broken ribs, and that's with quite a high success rate of a positive outcome

  • @w1ngsf4nkaren It depends on the patient. If the patient is younger with more flexible bones, ribs are less likely to break. The older and more rigid the bones, the higher chance of breaking. Though every case of CPR I've heard of, there have been ribs broken. I'm pretty sure ribs were broken on the arrest I worked too.

  • @w1ngsf4nkaren That is incorrect. I'm an EMT and aside from my own experiences in resuscitation, I had been taught and have observed in various hospital emergency rooms that breaking ribs is most almost always an indicator of hitting the correct depth for effective CPR. It's just one of the many grisly but true facts about CPR.

  • @DJaBookByItsCover not fail! every good CPR breake ribs ( on the connection with the sternum )

  • i a in yr 7 and i have lernt cpr yes i have

  • Being teaching CPR for 6+ years this is absolutely one of the best tools I have ever come across. Is there a way I may save this to my pc and use it while teaching?

  • Brilliant.

    Absolutely brilliant.

Favorited! (So I can learn the words by heart and crack up the other nurses at work! I absolutely PROMISE to tell them where I learned this.)

  • Great idea. Can I use it?

  • this is great lol XD

  • the sad thing is that i was singing this on a real call 2 nights ago. didnt work... PEA

  • That sucks.

  • You forgot another one bites the dust works well ! It's a personal favorite of mine and my partner's ! It's our official code song lol - just is bad when you are playing it God forbid your patient regained consciousness ! I think they'd prefer Stayin Alive !

  • @medic50646 You can also sing "Yellow Submarine", but I think people who walk by might look strange then :D

  • I'm clear you're clear everybody CLEAR!!!! *gthump*
