Uhmm.. I was in the skit. The point of the skit was to tell people that no matter what church you attend, it's never going to be perfect. Find a church that meets your beliefs, and stick with it, through the ups and downs. :)
The churches are the same way as the pharisees were, white washed walls. Clean the outside not inside. They go to church on Sundays and act a certain way to make people think they are good. Then go home and they are not about preaching the gospel to save souls at all. Just about their own lives rather than the life of Christ and all He was about. Now a days churches are just a place to get patted on the back and you to feel good about yourself. Hypocrites I believe is what Christ called them.
@2006man No, there isn't. Gods Spirit has left all corporate churches and He has commanded us all to leave them. Rev. 14:8. Babylon is the corporate "external" church. We are in the last days, and there has been a great falling away. You definitely should study Isaiah, and Jeremiah. They both specifically speak about the churches. Why do you think so many churches now speak of the "free will gospel"? Only God can save. Nothing we do gets us saved
