Nice project! Looking at the circuit... it's more of a joule thief, than a bedini? What is the importance/reason behind the diode leading current from the emitter back to the base? Thanks.
@KyleCarrington Its the best I have done with electronics. Moved on to trying to make a mechanical overunity device now. Will; self oscillate using another coil.. See earlier videos. Diode prevents transistor burn out at hi voltages.
very nice, i wonder is there away of doing it friction free, with magnets , either hang one abll from a string, then a nail then a ball, and lit it spin , or prob up some magnets to have a ball float just exactly where u want it, and walla, shes friction free.
@TedFnBuckle The speed of the ring or in this case a sphere magnet dictates the brightness of the lamp. The smaller spinning magnets make for a brighter lamp output with hardly any lamp flicker. I am going to try to spin a 8 mm sphere magnet in a plastic tube with a round bottom. Minimum contact. with the tube bottom and if one side touches the tube walls its contact will be minimum also.
@RoxProductions I just posted two new links on the SPLISH SPLASH video . Click on them to replicate. I bought ( two) 330 mfd 450 volts caps out of a China source on Ebay.
you know, when I first put the Tracmag on Youtube I was hoping others would find out what to do with it and good for you tom that you kept at it and did.
Both ideas lead to building a simple motor or generator with no problems. With further development I forsee an untapped power source for the future. I have stopped all my helter skelter project building and concentrating soley on this. An interested organization has already developed it further and seek overunity as their goal. They are in contact with me but I wish all folks give it a try. Its public domain property now. Never a dull moment experimenting with this.
@tracmag If anyone thinks they are interested in building this they should try Georges Tracmag first as I did.
Tracmag wont cost you as much to build as what I have invested in this setup. If you like what you are doing then crack your wallet further and buy the components to make what you see in this video. I was hooked permanently after playing around with Georges Tracmag and kept pursuing the idea. I now am into experimenting using sphere magnets.
Have you ever got this to self oscillate without the necessity of the magnet? Thanks.

Hope I can reach 50,000 RPM or better.
Thats a frequency of 833.33333 HZ

Good work! Thanks for opening it up for the public. That's the only way I work.
Also check out this when you get time. May get some other ideas for your research.

500,000rpm... Crazy!
Enjoy and keep it up! ~Russ
