I don't listen to it for the faith part of it, I listen to it for the overall sound. I love this group no matter what they believe in.

I totally agree with you. I noticed right off there was a pyramid and I immediately associated this band with the Occult. I am saying that there is a lot of stuff that happens the God stays out of.
Does God approve of kidnapping and raping little children? I don't believe he does, but it happens all the time.

Let me put it this way. The bible says God hears our prayers. If they are in accordance with HIS will, we may like the answer.
We may like the outcome of something, and see it as a good thing, but that does not mean God intervened on our behalf.

I would argue the opposite. That Stryper are more on fire for Gos than they have been for years. (Especially the Against the Law years)
What Stryper are doing with the new album is saying "This is the music we listened to growing up, and it is where we developed our own style from."

Stryper has NEVER claimed this is a "Christian" cd. Michael is very clear that this CD is to show what bands they listened to growing up and what their musical influences were.

I am hard pressed to declare Sweet as the greatest vocalist of all time, though there is some stiff competition with guys like Halford, Ian Gillan, Steve Perry, King Diamond (the guy is a wanker, but he has great vocal range)

I totally agree with you. I noticed right off there was a pyramid and I immediately associated this band with the Occult. I tried to focus on the pyramid in hopes to gain a better knowledge about what Occult practices they may be involved in, Unfortunately, I couldn't get a good look because there were words like "In God We Trust" and "Isaiah 53:5" so clearly printed that they got in the way.

If anything. More cred to Stryper since they actually really are Christian, while most satanist bands "only write that kind of lyrics" and dont know what they stand for.

I saw them in Columbus,ohio back in 1988 during the In God We Trust world tour. Jet was the opening band for them. They put on the best concert I have ever seen. to date.

The brand is Steinberger, probably a custom but it looks like a model XM 2. There is no headstock because it isn't necessary, the tuners are on the bottom of the bridge.
