Amazing track! Nick Heyward never really took off in the USA, 'cept for a couple of minor hits. Either way, KFOG in San Francisco used to play this once in a while, when they were "cool" and tuned into "cool" stuff from across the pond. Love the accordian and add it to the list of pop songs featuring this great sound. Others are "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by the Beach Boys, and "How Can I Be Sure" by the Rascals. An amazing instrument to hear on the radio while driving in the car! LOVE IT!

a great pop song, Nick Heyward is a pretty good song writer who has matured very well, Blue Hat is probaly my favourite of his early solo work, but it's there newer stuff where he's really come into his own. I agree though, talent doesnt seem to count nowadays with such great talents as Heyward, Roddy Frame and Edwyn Collins all being overlooked by the music buying public!

Yep, this is easily Nick Heywards best solo song. I remember seeing this video awhile back but completely forgot about it. Im 16 and yes his music is very good. Ive made a home version of 'Fantastic Day' by Haircut 100. Now i should make a home video of this song. All i need is a camcorder, a suitcase, that style, his haircut, a bridge, a guitar, and good miming technique!
