there is no authority given by whomever the mohawks may be that have requested that they are seperate from the rest of us. that has to be decided by their nation as a whole...and there are many who recognize themselves as part of our "confederacy" or "league". I would suggest this edit!

As you may have guessed, I'm from the west the main point of this piece is to ask for indigenous communities to resist the Olympic Torch because of what it represents, and how it impacts our land.
I noticed that the mohawk nation is listed seperately from confederacy which is "Haudenosaune" not "Six Nations"...under the constitution of the great league of peace, we are united under the white roots of peace...all six of us! mohawk onondaga, cayuga, seneca, oneida and tuscarora...we are all equal and all joined together in one law...regardless of the english word that is put to describing what we are...

During the 2010 Olympics, I carried a replica of Sauron's ring. The one that the Hobbit, Bilbo found. I wonder who is the, lord of the Olympic rings.
