Hmm.. I did your piston trick with the wii rubber. It didnt silence the "smash"? Is it the sanding down (piston) that makes the huge different in silence? I've also made the teflon mod and made the silencer, wich i dont think works? Do you drill holes into the foam peaces? Best Regards :)

I installed a 6.01 495mm tightbore, PDI hop up chamber, and a PDI palsonite cylinder set, and whenever I put in the mag, it's always loose. As in I have to hold it really tight to prevent the nozzle head from jamming the bb wrong into the hop up unit. Basically the mag release tab is loose, should I get a tighter screw or what?

good choice. maruzen and tanaka are their own companies rather then these cheap clones. you buy a maruzen if u dont wanna buy gas and you buy a tanaka if your okay with spending money on gas.
if im right, u take out the spring bolt (that silver tube he had) and u replace it with a gas 1 which u fill with what ever gas u want. so no need for gas mags.
yup thats what will happen but it might work for 50 shots and for a sniper as long as you dont lolly around and shoot it a bunch it could produce more fps but hardly any plus in the short run it would screw it up but i say just get a 130sp spring or 140sp from laylax and just use that... lasts longer

to be honest a silencer or suppressor are all made the same having chambers that capture air as the projectile passes through.. but you can use cheaper materials for airsoft ones cause there is no muzzle blast or is but its just air. so making rings of foam out of the box (white foam) make rings as thick as you want and put small holes so its as close to the bb as possible but make sure it doesnt interfer.... if you wanted you could make a gas rifle so quiet you only hear the hammer spring

The biggest problem with this gun is the hop up assembly when putting the barrel and hop chamber back into the barrel if you have any spacers that are tight that can mess the alignment up but the hop rubber gets messed up with the slightest movements of the hop system so really it has to go in to the barrel just right. It really is just a bad hop system.. i would recomend going gas as it can be messed with much easier and i think it is better for most battles i have been in
I had the same problem with mine. What happened is that the BBs hit the inside of the orange tip at the end of the barrel and they went flying left. I removed the tip and drilled the hole into something bigger. Now it fly straigth.
Is not good to sand your air compressor, it true that will go more faster, but you destroid the structure of the air compressor so maybe it will broke more easily...
Hey dude i can't get my gun to shoot accurately. What size BB's are u shooting, and my hop-up system was getting on my nervs with the way I had to keep ajusting it. So I gorilla glued an alan-key in the adjustment slot which is great for quick adjustments, but my budy is hitting the 10 ring at 50 yrds. every time without adjusting the hop-up system for the BB. We r hvng a shoot off again on Jan. 15th and he has beat me the last 2 times what can I do to upgrade mine? I have the L96 Mauser.
ok let me go down the line of what can be messed up or isnt in right... Make sure your hop rubber is on the barrel really good make sure to clean it of any oils. If you want more accuracy maybe lowering your fps depending on how used the gun is. clean the barrel? this gun is retarded when it comes to putting the barrel and hop back into the outer assembly. I use .28's in this rifle but maybe try .3?

umm im sure their clones are mostly the same so im gonna say yeah. The spring tensioner is deffinately something that gives you an extra fps boost plus the cylinder head being grinded for a more consistant pressure regulation which in terms gives much better accuracy. technically every shot without wind and screwed up bucking is accurate but its just uneven air pressure that makes your bb less accurate in your crosshairs or iron sights
no its a maruzen type 96 but its a european version or something it shoots harder for some reason... it was delivered in a maruzen sealed box. Anyways they dont differ much do they since its a clone? What would you recommend on buying to upgrade to 500 fps with great accuracy?=) thanks man

bbs only come in one size...for most guns anyway...so i assume you mean weight, .25s are great for sniper rifles
