  • -loads of great compositions on your channel. i would really like to hear this in higher quality. is there anywhere that i can do so?

  • Very Very good.. fourtet comes to mind. You got a soundcloud? or any equivalent.. there must be some labels interested in this.

  • @manbearwolflion Thanks for watching. I do indeed have a soundcloud. just search Memotone on there. I am also working with two labels at the moment. You can catch my latest EP on 12" from Black Acre. ENJOY!

  • awesome! I'm getting an MPC myself in a week or two :) can't await to make aweome shit with that tool!

  • :)

  • Very nice! I have that same Roland kit and an MPC 2000XL. Probably getting a KP3 soon, weird. You can get a lot going with just the MPC, that kit and a synth or 2. Anyway, nice work, it takes skill to do what you do.

  • Very solid timing and creative use of the loops!

  • Just beautiful!!!

  • OMy gOd I make wayy better Music .. Than Ur garbage .. LoL..

  • Hahaha glad u like it mate lol

  • This fool is a loser ,, all cramped up with no friendz hahaha

  • @Digital18Devil: Friendz!? Hahahaha! That one really got me chuckling. Cheers for the input though mate. Really on point.

  • @Digital18Devil YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS 'CAUSE YOU SUCK DONKEY ASS!

  • @Digital18Devil well i dont need friends. just my gear and women:)

  • im a hip hop fan but my god, i fucking love this

  • damn how i love you stuff

    i´m totally amazed.

  • I just want to tell you that you are quite good. I mean that very sincerly. That is VERY fresh. I could hear that on the radio a year or sooner from now, if it's not being played on the radio now. NICE music. I really dig it. I must say, I was sorta skeptical when I first clicked on it. But THIS is fucking brilliant. Good Job. Keep it up until you're signed. If you already are, do this more. But you already know that.

  • like a......RADIO HEAD

    very nice!!!

  • Had to watch this one again. I just got a KP3, and I love the way you use it. One of the best I've seen.

  • wow... that's lush well done

  • I like your setup, and I like how you constructed it and tweaked it on the fly, cool stuff

  • nice !

  • dirty, question is how can i download your amazing song?

  • sick, sounds real good, im looking into getting an HD-1

  • man you rock! great job ;)

  • does scratching ruin the vinyl so it cant play smoothly? doesint put scratches in the vinyl?

  • I am not sure why you are asking my this question as I have never posted a video with me scratching or mixing. Or doing anything with decks for that matter. But yes, over time with excessive scratching the needle will cause damage to your vinyl. This is referred to as record burn. But a record can take quite a lot befor that becomes the case.

  • harry potter

  • nice,i thought it could of done wit some strings, just a thought

  • Strings are just a hassle to record as I dont have a clip on pick up. I save all that work for my properly produced stuff. But I do agree. It would have sounded nice.

  • i dont no what u mean by clip on pick up,do have a sound module??jus record some orc strings off that str8 into the mpc, either way its a nice beat...like ya work bro, keep it up

  • Oh. Yes I do. But I try and keep all my sounds real. Recorded by me. And seeing as I have a violin and cello to hand I would probably rather record my own samples than use a computer. A clip on pick up is just like a pick up on a guitar its just you can put it on and take it off. So you can plug in acoustic instruments to a p.a, amp or recording device. And Thanks again.

  • folks you are watching a genius at work right here! this man has talent coming out his tear ducts, a hidden gem in this room kitted out with fantastic equipment but its deemed useless without that indifferent looking lad there using it. excellent grrove my man, keep it up! im inspired.....

  • You just made my day. Thankyou kindly

  • @nevo24 fitting statement man!

  • Now we're talking. I'm diggin the talent . I really like your setup.

  • huah this is best Ive heard from you now on :)

  • dude, this music is great. has a nice sort of trip hop sound. Have you made a cd or anything yet?

  • Sadly I have not pressed a CD yet. But I have two albums and an EP out on emusic and Itunes. Just search 'memotone'.

    I am happy you enjoy.

  • great video. i´m planning on buying a roland hd 1 as well. yea 600 - 700 euro is no peanuts but this kit seems really worth it. this looks like great fun. i will play this - a buddy on guitar - some bass - some kp3 sampling and kaossilator...i can´t wait. thanks for the vid again.

  • This is very cool!!! Thank you! :)

  • WoW that was wicked man.

  • yeah thats nice man...

  • hey friend . This drum kit is 750 in the US .. Is it worth it ?

    how does it feel ?

  • It feels lovely. But I would say that as I spent lots of money on it. But it is very good for the price. Much better than any of the cheeper ones. And Roland is always a safe bet.

If your looking to get the cheepest good electronic drum kit. This is the one. Large samples, good feeling, small, fun and most importantly incredibly responsive.

  • That was mad. Keep it up :)

  • so good dude.

  • Oh my god, I love this.

    Amazing job.

  • yeah

    very good!!!!!

  • That was really cool!!!5* =)

  • Thankyou very much.

    Im glad you enjoyed it.

  • STAR 5! bRaVo!

  • nice man!

  • hey mate

just wondering, im using an MPC 500 kaoss pad mini, microkorg and a kapssillator. can i run the kaossillator in to the MPC500 and sample it while im looping a beat on it. so pretty much wat the KP3 does. then run that out to the KP mini to a mixer

    thanks

  • Hello, Sadly you cannot record into the MPC in real time. You have to do it as a seperate operation. Ive not used the MPC 500 but im sure its the same. Just put it into record mode. Record your sample to a pad and use it in real time that way. Thats all I can suggest. It has to be pre made samples for live stuff really. Unless you have time on stage that you dont need to be doing anyhting. Then you can quickly record some in and away you go again.

  • Hello

great song, based on great loops. But what sound is coming in at 3:34 and with what are you creating it?

    thanks

  • Thankyou very much. The sound coming in a 3:34 is just an effect from the Kaossilator. Its got some good sounds on it. Im just running it through my KP3 to loop it as glitch it and stuff.

  • hey man do u just sample ur electric kit and use them on the mpc 100?

    thanks

  • I can do. But I have not here. There just some samples that I cut up from recordings of my friends acoustic kit and a tamborine. But you can put any sample you want into the MPC as long as its a WAV file. Just wack it on the CF card and away you go!

  • maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan thats what im sayin....nothin like that real music fam this is so true

  • youve done it again my friend

  • Haha, thankyou kindly. It takes a little while to get into it. When Im actually recording it, it feels like ive only been playing for like 3 minutes. But clearly not. hahaha. Im sure I will have another to put up soon! This 'Audio Preview' thing is funny.

  • nice ! how much is that drum worth !!!!!??!?

  • Thankyou very much. The Roland HD-1? I think its about £499.00? so about $520.00 or 532.00 euros? But I got mine ex-display for £419.
