@MrWombatsoup What I mean is on the first album there weren't any phoned-in fluffy guest hooks/choruses. That song with owl eyes is softer than miley cyrus and the 'cigarettes' track is worse. He was never going to get the attention he desired if he stuck to what he was doing so he made a decision to make music that would get airplay on nova and hit a wider audience than just triple j listeners. I first saw/met him 4 years ago and thought he had pretty good stage presence. Just disappointing..
