Ok I'm from Harrison, too. Might I inform you that the KKK racist events were in Boone County, but it was mostly in Zinc, not Harrison. Harrison gets a lot of flack from it and very little happened here. We do learn a lot about African American history and literature in our school. A lot of the people and youth in our city are completely against racism and can't stand to be around bc it's not right. But we are in agreement that Dr. Moody is an idiot.
Wow. I just realized that young man in the library scene looks and talks in the same hilarious voice as the current student coach teaching our P.E. I think it may be him. . . He's a total D-Bag.
hmm, ok, 30 CRAAZY people "turned" on the "least" (important that we note black people as "the least") 100 years ago and no black people have returned since. Methinks there's more to the story than just one isolated event...
