  • superb! almost lost the grip on your left hand, same thing happens to me all the time

  • He is doing it sumo "style" :D

    Nice job without strapes

  • Deadlifting like this makes the range of motion shorter, but involves more ham strength. On average the bar travels anywhere between %4-%14 shorter depending on the litters body type.

  • @Activity150 thanks!!

  • Wow, you're quite the strong guy, The most i've attempted to deadlift was 350, and any more than that just seems crazy to me at the moment.. it's insane how people can deadlift like 1000Lbs and whatnot..

  • @TheAspiringOne

People cannot deadlift 1000 pounds. Andy Bolton can.

  • @KreuzDerKrieg true

  • @KreuzDerKrieg maybe this is a dumb question but does deadlifting sumo style still strengthen your Posterior Chain as much as a regular deadlift? or does it take away alot an transfer more to just hamstrngs and inner thighs?....for wrestling which would be better, in your opionin? is there much of a difference at all?

  • @TheAspiringOne thanks!

  • strong grip

  • @thepickletrain thanks

  • how much do you spend a month on aas?

  • does spreading your legs make it easier to lift?

when i deadlift i prefer to have my feet very close together

  • @bjapan96 this is called sumo style deadlifting..

  • @bjapan96 it is called a sumo style deadlift

  • NIce solid form brotha

  • Great lift.

  • NICE ONE man ... i have just started to dead lift about a year ago to build my lower back for MMA ! i hope one day i can be half as good as u ...

SO far my max is only 315---- 1 rep

  • Hey man, looked pretty good. (before running off at the mouth, I pull low 700's, can look at my vids). However, you might see some more power if instead of grabbing the bar at the last second like that and jerking (wasn't a big jerk, but there was a tiny bit) if you preloaded some of the weight into your arms and then pulled. Anyway, all bullshit aside, was an excellent lift, keep up the good work.

  • @strongmanwhite on second thought dude, I watched a few more of your vids, I take that back, I can see now with your suit on its probably really difficult to get that last inch of distance between you and the bar. But yeah, your 650 pull looked like you got a bit more in the tank!

  • Dude, UR A BEAST AT THIS

  • bout tree fiddy

  • Great lift! My best is about 475, but I use double overhand grip. Do you know what causes many people to tear the bicep on the deadlift? Is it because of the alternating grip? I avoid the alternating grip because I don't want to tear my bicep. It does make my poundages lower though. Have you ever torn your bicep using alternating grip?

  • From yesterday i liftttt the weights

  • a lot of people do this wrong. this was actually very good posture. you should be proud of yourself

  • @gsboss thanks i appreciate that..

  • beast!

  • looks testicle breaking!!

  • What body weight is this at?

  • @TheCerosGuy i think i was at 240 there..

  • Sadly no I dont compete. My bench is too weak. Also the weirdest thing happened about a year ago...I just started losing power after a mild back injury. I went from reps with 500 to a 500 max single. Can't get out of this rut! My squat dropped also. I lift naturally and just cant figure it out. Cycling my poundages didnt help either. Any help? Sorry for the inconvienience.

  • @specialforces69 lol.. thanks i also am a mechanic... i work on my viper and nsx... :D

  • great lift. Very good sumo teqnique. I lift this way as well. Nice to see I'm not alone.

  • @dennis198007 thanks... do you compete?

  • nice 30 seconds from mars!

  • @nathanhawthorne44 snuck it in under the radar..lol..

  • @nathanhawthorne44 snuck it in under the radar...lol..

  • @specialforces69

not all gays have that girly wimpy stereotype

I've met some gay dudes that act straighter then most straight men lol

  • waw thats really interesting

  • BIG

  • nice dead, Nick.....

  • @pound4pnd1 thanks anthony!!!

  • @txlifter nice lift. its weird my max benchpress is around 430-450 squat around same and my deadlift lol. a buddy of mine can only benchpress like 250 but he deadlifted around 600 before so weird. different bodytypes. nice lift keep it up

  • @TAKEMARU666 it all has to do with the length of your arms. short arms are great for bench. long arms are great for deadlifs...

  • @txlifter oo ok that makes sense. i am 5 foot 9 1/2 and very stalky. my friend has shit bench but he is 6 foot 4

  • @TAKEMARU666

    @txlifter

indeed my cousin is short and stalky and he out benches me i am long and lanky, my bench is so weak compared to his that it devastated my confidence lol, but then i found out that i have about 200lbs on him in the deadlift.

  • @txlifter Why are longer arms great for deadlift? Is it due to the starting point?

  • @TAKEMARU666 oh and i can see my neck and wipe my ass

  • @TAKEMARU666 i could be wrong, but i think bodytypes really only come into play when you start getting into the HEAVY weights; it comes down to how much you focus on one lift over another, and how much time you dedicate to your weaknesses

  • you and rick are couple, right?? =)

imagine... txlifter + rick in the bedroom...

    dreamteam... :-D

  • rick and i were married in d.c. last wednesday.

    thanks

  • oh very nice!!

congratulations and the best wishes to you!

  • @txlifter Congrats, dude!

  • Good lift and using what I call the semi sumo takes gettng used to and you really have to work your legs more and especially the hips, too wide and my hip sockets feel thier going to break but no matter what style you use its still a big LIFT!!!

  • thanks krylogenic!!!

  • monsta !

  • i got the same shoes lol

  • It prevents the bar from rotating and makes heavy weights a lot easier.

  • It makes it easier on the underarms to lift heavy weights. Don't know the physics behind it but it works. But the reverse grip could give you a torn bicep so be careful.

  • 545? You looks monster strong dude, I figured you weight about that much haha. Bet your DL max is a lot higher than 545..

  • wow ! Train me!

  • sure thing...

  • Definately impressive. You were good for way more.

  • great job

  • i have not competed in a full meet in about 7 years... my last meet i weighed 235... congrats on your pull.. i want 700 at my next meet!!!!

  • You'll get there... How long have you been training, and what weight class are you in? I'm pulling 620 raw/drug free in 275's and have been competing for 3 years. Pulled a measley 485 in my first meet in 2006.

  • woofs n howdy. great lift

  • i love the song in the background nice lift btw

  • really impressive...would have been a tad bit better if his stance wasnt so wide so he could have a bigger range of motion, but theres so many different ways to do deadlifts its all good.

  • maybe it was a sumo DL

  • c'mon add some new vids.

    Hope everything's ok.

  • Not bad! Keep it up!

  • Great lifting, keep it up :)

  • wow this guy is the best

  • very nice lifting

  • Very Impressive! And was that a singlet on you?

  • THAT IS WHAT WE HAVE TO COMPETE IN

  • What. A. Man.

  • wow that's awesome strnegth and power tex

  • THANKS
