@LivingHistorySchool just learned that one about 30 minutes ago lol. i normaly soak it too but i was setup to do it yesterday and ran out of time so it dried a bit on me. however i think it will still be good enough for one or two fires as a bowdrill string. i hope. just got to find a good bendy stick now.
@LivingHistorySchool ive been trying for a year to do the hand spun form but cant get it. i have partial paralysis of the nerves in my arms and legs so it is hard to feel things and such. which leads to my hands getting torn up real bad because i cant really feel what is happening. also i get worn out just as i start to make any progress. but i will keep trying until i get it.

@FixedByDoc why don't you just learn hand spun fire starting and save your hand made cordage? just a thought
