  • Love this movie, the torture scene was amazing. & your dog is so adorable, in some parts of the video it looks like he's smiling :D

  • About to start doing film reviews, and this film is fantastic! Check out "3 Extremes (2004)" sometime if it hasn`t be suggested

  • Takashi Miike's "13 Assassins" was amazing

  • COLD FISH!!!!!!!! and doo review for COLD FISH!!!! plissssssss im begging u i have no friends to share about cold fish

  • @sebastianhuang COLD FISH is truly brutal and torture ^^

  • i had a friend who worked a japanese import video store and he told me about the movie Guinea Pig: Devil's Experiment when i was growing up when i first saw the movie i was convinced that it was real seriously jill i think you would love it. i have a feeling you already know about all those movies. i like audition but the pace was really slow for me and i felt in comparison guinea pig set my standards for torture movies pretty high. even though it had no real story at all.

  • Although not Japanese, Dream Home (on Netflix) is one of the more rare Chinese horrors that impressed me. When the Chinese get horror right, it is DISTURBING (Dumplings). I walked in on my wife watching this... and she was all laughs and giggles telling me that I need to watch the whole thing. You might just enjoy this movie.

  • Have you seen Miike's Master of Horror episode Imprint? Also Thirst is a really good Korean Vampire movie by Park Chan-wook.

  • Asian Horror, hmm... One you have not mentioned - which is my favorite horror film of the last decade- is A Tale of Two Sisters. Ingenious film!! Ring of course. Kyoshi Kurosawa's Pulse and Cure and really slow, but have some interesting philosophical/socio-political subtext and are creepy beyond believe. And - my secret weapon of choice - Noroi. That film may be the scariest yet!!! It's a documentary on a demon researcher, some scenes of it are on here and those give you a good idea.

  • Am LOVING Horror in a Hurry! And the costume suggestions! I can't wait to see what you do- LOL you might be a girl this year is hilarious.

Favorite Asian thriller/horror... Does Oldboy count?

  • Check out "The Red Shoes". Great Japanese/Korean movie.

  • I saw this film only once, though it's one of the most briliant horror films made about loneliness. However, it's very uncomforable to watch the ending which makes your eyes shudder with horror.

Even this film made musician Rob Zombie get up and leave in the middle of the theater while watching this. That's saying quite a lot.

And, yes, I adore Asian women. Another plus in the film.

  • machine girl

  • I've always liked Takashi Miike. You don't deserve him.

  • The Grudge White ghost was uncomfortable, gruesome and for me terrifying lol.

  • your way better looking than trash and that one eyed girl looks like a kid you should be darkness bride from the movie legend that would be cool.

  • @julio26789 Right now the vote is going to either One Eye or Salma Hayek in From Dusk Til Dawn. Darkness Bride would be an awesome costume... vote on my facebook and save me from having to work out like crazy to try and pass for Santanico Pandamonium or bumping into things drunk with an eye patch all night. ;)

  • I highly recommend Suicide Club and Noriko's Dinner Table for your Japanese horror fix. The Red Shoes wasn't a bad S.Korean film, save for the typical confusing Korean twist ending.

  • I was thinking about various horror movies, have you ever seen Ginger Snaps? Its really good for a low budget movie. Only movie I know that has female werewolves.

  • @Feydrian Ginger Snaps has 2 sequels too. I think Ginger Snaps 3 is on Neflix Instant.

  • @TheJillkill Yeah the Second one was good. The third one was ok. I figured you saw them, but just wanted to give them some props, since not many people know about the movies.

  • Trash from return of the living dead! That would be cool! :)

  • Dream Home by the Pang brothers and Chaos / Kaosu (1999) Directed by Hideo Nakata is a very good thriller with lots of twists. you might want to visit AsianHorrorFanVids he has some very good reviews.

  • Yeah Audition is fucking awesome so is Ichi The Killer have you ever seen Takashi Miikes movie Imprint that one is really fucked up I also like Tokyo Gore Police and Vampire Girl Vs Frankenstein Girl

  • Tokyo Gore Police! also on Netflix... not really horror...

  • @easygreasy6 Oh, I've seen it. I'll give anything a try if I can watch it on instant. Bloody good fun!

  • here's another costume request angela from night of the demons original

  • Takashi Miikes 'Visitor Q' is one of my favs but it is one of the most disturbing movies ever. Even more than ichi. Also liked a film called 'Grotesque' as well.

  • Audition is an awesome film! I love Asian horror. You should check out The Eye (original) and A Tale Of Two Sisters...if you haven't seen them. You rock Jill! ;)

  • @MrMovieNight You too! I've never seen A Tale of Two Sisters, but I've seen the others. I'm going to review I Saw The Devil, a really well directed Korean film soon. :)

  • The suicide club(Suicide circle) is an amazing Japanese thriller!

  • @Themadbomber187 I've seen it, the opening scene is so funny!

  • Audition is brilliant..gotta love Takashi Miike...great review Jill! ichi & Battle Royale are bad-ass, so is old boy n i saw the devil n suicide club.. ima go vote now.. have a nice weekend! :)

  • Thanks for reviewing my suggestion :D

  • @spump303 Thank you for the suggestion! :D

  • I enjoy cumming in plants too. You should be Black Devil Doll for Halloween. ;p

  • I've been a long time Japanese fan, growing up in south america we would get all the anime on network tv, so I would know japan though that, ultraman, battle of the planets, yattaman (which also Takashi Miike also directed and it was silly fun) to me personally there are different eras, but my favorite era in japanese films was the Shogun's Assassin's Series which is briefly mentioned by the daughter in Kill Bill also known as Lone Wolf and Cub. Babycart on River Styx still my favorite film.

  • @crithon Wow, I've got a lot of friends who read the Lone Wolf and Cub series but I've never gotten into it myself. I'll need to do some borrowing. ;)

  • I really love your Video Reviews!
