Uh huh, well apparently a leading Canadian economist related to Harper's government says a carbon tax would do no harm to the economy. (see here: greenparty[dot]ca/en/releases/­12.09.2008) Which makes sense to me, since it'll raise taxes on carbon polluters but lower taxes on regular people.

Harper himself is a leading Canadian economist, I'm not going to take the advice of some wingnut the Green Party dug out of the pumpkin patch to lecture us on economics.

The corporations will pass on their incurred costs to us, the consumer, and will take the occasion to raise it a bit more to increase their profits as well. WE THE CONSUMER will end up paying.

Stephane Dion is trying to cripple our economy to pay for his promises in a time of economic uncertainty. We can't let this happen

the biggest lie that the liberals will feed you is that if you tax the heck out of rich people and give it all away to poor people, our country will become a better place.

because of a lot of economic and psychological reasons, this is not the case. all you do is force the rich people away and leave the country bankrupt with the poor people having no jobs (but i suppose if you voted for the liberals you didn't want work in the first place).

But I'm not for heavy handed copyright restrictions where no one can ever share art with each other. I prefer more rights and freedoms for us citizens.
