HERO, godbless the RAF and brave pilots that have the courage to fly in to hot lz's HERO! support all our soldiers these pilots are as brave and skilled as the men on the ground..( like keeping control of a blow out in your car at 120 mph with your best mates onboard) ...and he is just doing his job.
"Ok chaps, just to let you know, I've just taken a round to the head. Don't panic, the other half of my brain is still intact. Luckily for you, it's the part which deals with understanding and operating complex machinery."
@Vikiloulou1991uk Might want to watch a film called "ICRC War Surgery" here on Youtube. Has some, ehhhh, interesting footage. Goes beyond the basic medic stuff somewhat, but... worth a look.
They all are a special breed of Men. My son just got back from Afghanistan and he spent a lot of time on the chinook, Courage is better demonstrated, not stated. Hoorah!
War is complete and utter shit, what a immature horrible way to solve problems especially in this age, what are we beasts of death and blood? And soldiers support it, fuck them, BUT i can support the soldiers noble and passion for his homeland even if it is irrational.
@DeludedAlbatross Actually yes. We are beasts of death and blood. A long time ago we killed to survive,we still do it now. Of course, every creature/beast has blood in them. The answer to your question; Yes.
Was this pilot up for a VC, the Victoria Cross? I saw the headline months ago and it is one astounding rescue with a major injury, which is an understatement.
@210482fmj wtf? why would he apply to become a pilot if he didn't want to do it? Just like infantry? He, like everyone else WANTS to be there. I loved being in infantry from 05-10. Afghanistan was brilliant.
Hey all. Posted a new video up about the mission that lead to the death of Osama Bin Laden. (Its block in the UK, Ireland and Guernsey unfortunately.)
@slipknot3597 They edited different footage from the actual event, and helicopters leaving/landing at the base. If you dont believe its real google 'raf pilot shot in head'.
Just a quick message. If you comment with anything linked to Call Of Duty, your comment will be removed, and you will be blocked. This video could have ended differently if the bullet had been an inch lower. Be respectful.
@KingKimwer Most battlefield players are more mature, and arma is a combat sim, so again most people are more mature. The majority of references are from COD games.
@cadian14758 i dont see how theyre more mature, but i get it. as much as i like cod, the references are annoying. but no matter whether its cod or arma, you'll never know how a soldier feels unless you become one.
@KingKimwer Battlefield not so much, but with ArmA most players have an serious interest in the military, and not just an interest in action films etc. They seem to have more respect for serving soldiers compared to COD players (mostly the younger players)
@cadian14758 have u met some of the people that play arma? lol so many of my friends play it, but they dont take military seriously. but im not gonna go of topic here. i respect these soldiers too much.
Well done that pilot, top man indeed, hope you are ok. Also to the medics working in the back on the wounded on that hairy flight back to base, hope you are all ok.
this is what all the training is about. these are brave men and they are known for this they have done. may the good be with them for now and forever more even after he has passed to the other side!
